Mothers Day :)

Come on then girls, Mothers Day is just around the corner.

Lets do some 'collective pooling of ideas'.

What can I get mum and MIL?

Also, my Grandmother and DH's too.

It can be something bought / made (but keep it easy!) / we can incorporate DD into as well (though she is only 18 months).

Any ideas gratefully received!

x

miggy, just for this week "search" is only looking at the last seven days' postings, it's a temporary thing pending a server upgrade (according to Tech on another thread).

Miggy, if its the one I mentioned earlier, go into topics and click on 'Products', then scroll down in date order to 12 December last year, and you should see a thread called 'Fantastic Christmas Present Ideas'.

Marina, thanks very much for putting the link there. x

Any other ideas?

Why do you buy for grandmothers? Surely your parents do this? Anyway...back to the thread. I have bought my Mum some craft stuff, because she is really into making cards, like me. I also got her some bath oils beads, because they were BOGOF! Cheap, me? Never. No doubt, for dh's mum, we will make a donation to Cancer Research, because she died of cancer 17 years ago.

Chinchilla I but for my grandmothers because I am quite close to them and I like to. Also, my one grandmother sometimes looks after DD when I need to work and her usual childcare is on hols (mu mum).

I think the donation is a really good idea.

Thanks - we see it as something that she would appreciate if she is up 'there' looking down.
