A little Mornington Crescent - anyone care to join in?

I just fancy a change of focus.

I'll jump right in with Great Portland Street - I think I'm entitled to do that, with it being beyond the autumn equinox, but before Halloween?

Any takers?

Stunning work everyone. Very well done. Have since such verve and vigor since the late great Elephim Smyth.

May I be so bold as to start us off? Since it's the MNHQ Christmas party tonight the only logical choice is....Green Park.

DecorKateTheXmasTreeMumsnet · 18/12/2013 10:19

Oh crikey - I appear to have completely misread the thread and you're already in full swing. Ignore me completely Blush

MooncupGoddess · 18/12/2013 10:33

Kate Xmas Grin

It's OK, under the Pendragon Rules Green Park is a perfectly acceptable, indeed rather cunning, move given the existing situation.

AlbertGiordinHoHoho · 18/12/2013 10:46

"Pendragon Rules" - Mooncup you big suckup.

Kate - RTFT, its not bloody christmas you know...

I will now issue a "Global Diversion" (for the younger players this is the MC equivalent of football's 'drop ball') and shlimp us al over the diagonal and without restriction play Bank...

a good services is now running on all lines.

arf at Mooncup and Albert Grin

If Lintle's Ruse is in whimsy (which I'm pretty damn sure it is) how about Temple?

AlbertGiordinHoHoho · 18/12/2013 12:01

...that's better Kate, Lintle's Ruse is indeed in whimsy, as long as you are NOT playing by Priaprims - we all know where that left us last time - a surprising development. I'm going to take a voluntary digression and skip the next moves, just to see what pans out.

EmpressOfTheWellOfLostPlots · 18/12/2013 12:44

I think Angel seems fitting in the circumstances.

RebeccaMumsnet · 18/12/2013 13:24

Every time I pass through I think of this thread, so much so that I took a photo Grin
I hope this works...

I think Rebecca's just won this round!

AlbertGiordinHoHoho · 18/12/2013 13:54

I admire your dedication Rebecca - and very well played. I assume you took advantage of Kate's Temple manouevre and then (according to Stephenson 4th ed.) did a bilateral phlimp? Very nice.

TheHeadlessLadyofCannock · 18/12/2013 14:15

Gosh, I've missed some excitement! Been away. Almost wish I hadn't Grin.

So is that a win? Does a photo count? Congrats if so, Rebecca.

But part of me hopes it doesn't count and you haven't won, because I've been waiting for a chance to essay a Westward Dorting and, following Angel and that bilateral phlimp, I can!

To Gospel Oak, and don't spare the horses!

DecorKateTheXmasTreeMumsnet · 18/12/2013 14:56

Hmm I don't know what rules you're playing by, but photos definitely do NOT count. It's clearly stated in Plinge's Charter of 1808. Unless someone has the revised version?

EmpressOfTheWellOfLostPlots · 18/12/2013 15:53

Have you started the party already?

DecorKateTheXmasTreeMumsnet · 18/12/2013 16:02

@EmpressOfTheWellOfLostPlots

Have you started the party already?

The party don't stop at the Towers.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 18/12/2013 16:28

::Swoons onto the chaise longue::

Well, this is all becoming a little unseemly.

DecorKateTheXmasTreeMumsnet · 18/12/2013 16:31

Sorry we've ruined the thread with our loutish behaviour - I believe we were at Gospel Oak? I wonder if anyone will be brave enough to risk a Castiel Elbowing and go down the Northern Line?

RebeccaMumsnet · 18/12/2013 16:51

You would take it down the Northern line Kate, tsk

AlbertGiordinHoHoho · 18/12/2013 16:53

So we're agreed Rebecca's rather impertinent visual MC didn't count - Cannock went for Gospel Oak, and Kate is the cock of MNHQ...

I'm eschewing my rights to remain incognito and I'm going for Heathrow T5...

TheHeadlessLadyofCannock · 18/12/2013 16:55

'You would take it down the Northern line Kate'

The spirit of Hayward's Entendre lives on, what?

But seriously, folks, I'm not sure we should go for a Northern Line move under these circumstances. A bit risky considering the Hampton Singularity.

Recalling the great controversy that culminated in the Treaty of Ponders End 1903, I offer you

St James' Park

EmpressOfTheWellOfLostPlots · 18/12/2013 17:54

I think HQ will be taking it up the Oxo Tower next...
Thank you for restoring a little seemliness to the proceedings, Maud.
