I just fancy a change of focus.

I'll jump right in with Great Portland Street - I think I'm entitled to do that, with it being beyond the autumn equinox, but before Halloween?

I've a couple of options, but given the propensity for Eddingtons that these games seem to produce (it must be a MN thing, I've never seen so many) and the DLR being high, I'm going for

No, Cyprus is fine by me! In fact I'd go so far as to say that anything else after that little Fritango caused by the plays of Russell Square and Mudchute would have been dangerous.

If I'm not mistaken, according to the Olympic rules, a Tark at this point might have just allowed an overground move.

As it is over 20 hours since the last move, I think the overground is now blocked.

Therefore a sneaky Covent Garden is the absolute best I can do at the moment.

Drat. I was planning to post last night but I picked up my copy of Mornington Crescent: The Championship Matches 1953-78 to check a couple of details and the next thing I knew it was time for bed. I really think that was the game's golden age, there were some extraordinarily thrilling endgames.

Anyway, I can now return to the fray invigorated and full of fresh ideas. So, a reverse Wolfson to Perivale for me.
