Storage solutions - What couldn't you live without ?????

As you all know, i am very short of space at the mo and would like to know which bits of storage equipment are the best to buy. I don't really want piles and piles of boxes.
I also need somewhere/thing to store shoes in, that isn't to big, and looks nice IYKWIM
So which bits of storage equipment have you got and what do you put in it ?????

Well thanx for all of the suggestions, never thought i'd get so many. Will definatly be getting something for the wardrobe to sort out the mould, and some things to hang on doors e.t.c.
I don't have a Lakeland near me (well i don't think so any way) Probably just as well from what i've read of you Lakeland addicts
Twiglett - The M&S thing was for single parents. Don't know why they sent it to me. The people at homestart know i'm not a single parent.

Whilst the kids are off i'm going to enlist their help for the big clear out, and hopefully by the time they go back to school we will have a more organised home.

nutcracker, perhaps I shouldn't mention this, but Lakeland are primarily a mail order company... it's still possible to become an addict!!

Right, i'm back. I've been on the Lakeland site and think it's fab. Nearest store to me is in Solihull. I may have to pay a visit.
