good news Twinkie

lou33 · 09/02/2004 11:23

Glad you are staying Twinkie. He's really not worth getting upset about, he's noone to you and what he says is completely irrelevent to your life. Just try and remember that.

CountessDracula · 09/02/2004 11:23

Good for you Twinkie, don't let him wind you up!

suzywong · 09/02/2004 11:25

Glad you are staying Twinkie

aloha · 09/02/2004 11:30

Hiya! Your little girl just has good taste in men, eh? I'm glad it's going so well.

fio2 · 09/02/2004 11:39

glad you are staying twinkie

binkie · 09/02/2004 11:41

Can I also add sympathy for Twinkie and plea, if possible, not to leave? She has been a trailblazer of bravery for all kinds of people on here, and as the deeply unfair (albeit sadly predictable) consequence of being in the vanguard she has ended up being a prime target.

Twinkie, I can understand if you feel you have had enough - but your posts on here have made you countless thoughtful, appreciative supporters who'll be your supporters permanently, long long after a certain conflict-addict has moved onto whoever next appears in his sights.

binkie · 09/02/2004 11:44

Hey, delayed post! Good news!

ponygirl · 09/02/2004 11:51

I don't think you have anything to apologise for. I've always found your advice hugely valuable and honest. Throughout your own problems you've always found time and thought for others. Mumsnet would be a lesser place without you. Glad you're staying.

lydialemon · 09/02/2004 13:38

Missed everything, so

a, Twinkie stay!

B, I'm glad you decided to remain with us!

Kayleigh · 09/02/2004 13:53

Glad you're staying Twinkie

mammya · 09/02/2004 21:55

Missed it all again it seems! But glad you've decided to stay Twinkie! Will get in touch soon.

marthamoo · 09/02/2004 22:19

Twinkie, just stay. As far as I am concerned the other person is persona non grata. If he posts again can we all just ignore him please?

tigermoth · 10/02/2004 08:20

I hope SB gets that new comupter hooked up soon. Mumsnet to the rescue, again.

Twinkie, glad you've decided to stay.

oliveoil · 10/02/2004 08:58

What the hell has happened now??? FFS I am always off work, better not be anyone being mean > I WILL BE BACK.

oliveoil · 10/02/2004 09:03

Has it been deleted? Nothing springs out at me....

Will hunt later when I have the time, hope it wasn't anything too nasty (again)

Twinkie · 10/02/2004 09:07

s'ok OO - was just dadslib again but he been ousted - everything is fine really he just got me first thing on a Monday morning and I was feeling a bit grotty and he was just being himself!!

All over and done with now anyway!!

oliveoil · 10/02/2004 09:14

Thought he was banned??? It ALWAYS kicks off when I am off work!!!!

Glad to hear you are ok, I will monitor with my eagle eye today for any other kickoffs or maybe start one myself.

Twinkie · 10/02/2004 09:20

Well if x2b were on here there would be one - can you believe it he is in a strop because I won't give him a regular day when he can pick DD up from school and take her home to his to see his parents - she finishes school at 3.30 and then it would be up to an hours drive there (only 30 mins on way back) but as I would want her home at 6pm (she is only 3.5yrs) it makes it pretty pointless and I don't want her spending a whole evening travelling.

He just does not get it - the judge only gave him every other weekend and half the holidays so any other time is my discresion.

God I am not sure what to do - half of me wants to keep hi sweet as I want to be able to negotiate a big settlement and half of me wants to scream and shout at him - ooohhh it is soo hard to be nice to him at all though!!

When I was talking to him last week I told him that I did not care if his mother choicked on her own vitriol and he said I was eing nasty and it was water under the bridge and I am gonna have to be nice to his mother at some stage!!!! GGGGGRRRRR!!!! There is a definate possibility that I will start hating men soon (well except DP!!).

oliveoil · 10/02/2004 09:24

It must be REALLY hard to sort out, you want to do what is best for dd but on the other hand you want to punch him in the head. Don't envy you at all . I would be insane by now.
