Sad Oh no, what happened, if you don't mind me asking?

Twiglett · 06/06/2006 12:40

what's the story rickman?

anorak · 06/06/2006 12:40

rickman Sad What has happened?

rickman · 06/06/2006 12:49

About a month ago,exp came round and was being his usual charming self. I asked him to give ds back to me and he wouldn't, he started walking off with him. I ended up slapping his face to get ds back and he rang the police. Today they came and cautioned me, I had to do fingerprints and dna.

Feistybird · 06/06/2006 12:51

Well, he's an arse and no mistake - don't let it get you down Rickman. On the grand scale of things it's no big shakes, hold your head high and don't let the bastard bring you down.

intergalacticwalrus · 06/06/2006 12:51

Shock that your xp had the nerve to report you, and double Shock that you got a caution for trying to protect your child.

Twiglett · 06/06/2006 12:52

OMG Shock

rickman · 06/06/2006 12:56

Once they had heard the background, they were very sympathetic. They thought he sounded like a bully. They are passing my details on to their domestic violence team, as they thought that they might be able to offer me some advice.

I've had a solicitors letter from him as well, regarding access to ds2. Freckle helped me with a reply, but I haven't sent it yet. Not sure if I should change it now to reflect what has happened today. The Police said that I would be in my rights to ask him not to visit the house, not sure how that will affect contact though.

rickman-you are within your rights to ask him not to come to the property anymore-it shouldn't affect contact if you are able to find a neutral venue for handovers or better still a neutral person.

Sounds like you have a right arse to deal with, really feel for you

I'm so sorry Rickman, I've lurked on a few of your postings but never replied before. You should consider talking to the domestic violence team as you don't want to be in the position of everything offical being him reporting you. He has no absolute right to come to the house - handing over in a neutral place seems to be the way to go. Perhaps you could tell him its for his own protection as you are obviously such a dangerous woman Grin.

Big jessie, I can't believe he reported you for slapping him Angry
