How many of us actually meet Shona's little sidekicks criteria?
She states that all of us on Mumsnet are in our 30s, living in London and have a degree. How many people here meet that criteria?
How many are popping prozac depressed at the shit life we now have with kids?
Damn that woman is nasty!

Hanging onto my 30's for a few more months, live in the Midlands and have a HND. I do pop the old pills but hey-ho, that's what happens when you have a chemical deficiency.

Shall I get my coat?

PS - fab email Justine!

Older than 30s, miles from London, almost three degrees, don't like Hobnobs or Boden.

Will those of us who don't fit the criteria be expelled from Mumsnet? :(

Good response to the Daily Mail, Justine! :)

If you read the DM backwards does it make sense?

Does Shona live inLondon and have a degree?

It probably makes more sense than when you read it forwards, Habbibu. Wink

40, Home Counties, degree, like hobnobs but haven't bought them for years. I'll add them to my shopping list!

I like the crossing out, I find it hilarious quite amusing. Although not hugely fond of bad language on the screen. It is what it is Smile

SS is just tagging onto MN to get her own publicity.

If she doesn't want personal criticism she shouldn't take such a personal and frequently controversial slant on so many things (like preferring to starve rather than use state schools). If I insisted on my unusual perspective and choices being good ones and even making a living out of writing about them in a national newspaper in quite personal, also defensive terms, I wouldn't be surprised if I got shredded for it.

NewsFlash Shona: we're not here to act as anyone's fan club.

Me: mid 40s, Not London, no pills, foreign, never iron, sometimes organic bread in the lunchbox (along with cheesestrings and sausage rolls), Degree'd to the hilt, though. Maybe I can claim Liberalista & to have pontificating style, though. I have to be guilty of something.

Her dog has funny eyes, too. Maybe it's true what they say about pets looking like their owners.

Middle aged.
Children.
Degree and above.
Live nowhere near London, but I've heard of its existence and I've even heard that they have trains wot run underground.

Not on prozac but am on some pretty funky other meds for a long term health condition.

Didn't even know Boden existed until I came here, but have a wardrobe full of Tresspass.

Love the email btw
Oh and I'm a 36yr old sahm, home educator, low income,no degree's and an agoraphobe taking no ad's and much prefer a custard cream.
Worst piece of journalism ever as obv very little real research done and not exactly written from an un biased point of view. Now I remember why I don't read the daily fail prefer real journalism

I do have the occasional Boden bits though.

Two out of three ain't bad, apparently.
I'm only here because I was told to fuck off to mumsnet on a forum where having opinions was frowned upon. I was basically a homeless internet vagrant, and I've been lurking in doorways round these parts ever since. I don't own anything from Boden though.

Report
sjupes · 11/04/2013 11:34

Mid 20's, scotland, no degree, no boden and i can't stick hob nobs.

I'll be off then..

I've nearly finished reading Flat Earth News. I'm not sure much real journalism exists any more.

And you didn't really mess about at school, did you? Because that would have been very bad and wrong of you, as I'm sure you know Wink.
