Going out tonight - but wtf do you wear to go clubbing ???????

Havent been to a club for ages (ok so ive only ever been to one and that was years ok and I hated it!! Was dodgy trance music or something)

Havent actually been out socially for a very long time!

But what do you wear to clubs? I live in trainers but I doubt I'll get away with them.

Im 23, I should know this stuff already Blush

i live in the northwest and things have changed loads since i had dd a year ago !! now clubs tend to accept women in smart jeans and top. I usuallt wear glittery jeans with dressy shoes and a vest top or similar....trainers tend to be a no no..

depends on the club, as some are more dressy than others .. they should have a dress code .. find out!

I went clubbing last week for the first time in about a decade and I felt really old and mumsy (even though I'm not, honest Grin). There were young girls wearing belts for skirts, gyrating round blinged up men Shock and all I could think of was "my DDs will NOT be coming anywhere like this in a few years" Grin.

ok, so you wear a bright pink ra-ra skirt with a white top that has padded shoulders and black stilletoes.

Or at least that's what I wore last time I went clubbing in 1980 something

i'm 29 and still go clubbing occasionally! dh is a dj (not smashy and nicey style) so sometimes I tag along! I usually wear smart jeans, a nice, but fairly plain top, and tend to splash out occasionaly on some trendy shoes and bag, and cheapo fashionable jewelery. That way I still look modern not mutton!

At least it's summer cos it seems to me the dress code is to expose as much flesh and wear as little possible when it's -5 outside and not wear a coat....(Oh my God I sound like my mother Sad)

I'd go with Alliebongo and i'm 21. I don't go out very often and certainly don't go clubbing, more of a late night bar type of person myself.
Defo go with jeans, smartish top, funky shoes and bag and some cool jewellry from topshop or something

i kinda stopped going clubbing when i was 29 .. but the other week went to Tantra .. there were white drapped beds and a couple of bunnies.
Joined our friends in the VIP area (altho chose normal seating and not the beds!).. and the bill was 600 quid .. or more!
oh, saw chantelle outside .. dippy!!

I normally wear some mad long suede boots with fur tops roung them and a short skirt. Also a nicy trendy top not cut too high but not showing ten miles of cleavage. May look a bit mutton dressed... but who cares !

thanks es! bit of life in the old bird yet...lots of my pals are still single and go out lots so i ask them! As long as you feel comfortable and confident then most people won't really notice!

I don't go clubbing, normally to a bar or something, and not very often.

But I would go for smart jeans, a pretty job, nice shoes, a bag, jewellery etc.

Have so far got smart jeans (make my bum look good but have to hide the middle as they are too tight!)

Boots with a heel (I so can walk in a heel am going to suffer!!)

But with the jeans - all of my tops make me look to fat grrrrr but they are the only suitable jeans i have!

Seems like far to much effort - and I dont even drink!!!

tamba, have you got any platforms?

I wear nice top with jeans and nice necklace. I'm 38 and love to go clubbing now and again still but hate the mutton look.
