Funny my folks would have been the same way about food, the only 'wet' dinners were stews and anything with a pint of gravy. Now its a chicken curry or a beef strip wrap. Mad how they go in old age.

Have heard about RC from my SIL. Is is that parochial that they'd ban threads for no particular reason? Is it run by PPs?

mad into Pinky and Perky books as small child..had to get counselling when we visited my nan up country one christmas and she dished up crubeens for dinner.

They ban people for no particular reason - never mind threads!!! The only 'disruptive' thing I did was ask them to explain why they were locking/deleting threads that seemed totally within the guidelines!

Personally have no problem with the posters, just the admin of the site. Its all over the shop.

Bump doing well ladies - wrecked today, cud have slept all day long, my 2 year old wasn't having that though! Supposed to work til wed but not sure ill make it!

That was what happened me in the end too irlouise13. Apparently one mustn't publicly challenge them. It used to be a fabulous little site, very friendly, real community feel, lots of debate/banter. Would have been literally laughing my head off some days - sitting silently shaking with laughter at my desk in work trying to keep it in! Made a lot of friends that I am still in touch with.

Changed a lot, for the worse, in the last few years and then the crazy inconsistent moderating!

This site has too many topics is huge but the most popular topics are this one, chat and relationships really.

They're certainly the most active sections on MN.

Oh so things are still the same yonder, same old same old but what do you expect when the admin have certain posters as moderators that's why it's been so biased. I grew out of the place a long time ago and left as it became so boring.

Fortunately I've found a few other sites that are a lot more interesting and have more interesting topics than the done to death steam mops and hanging out laundry and cum towels.

That's become increasingly apparent honeyrider.
