i'm in distress as they're swapping my cable box for a digital one and can only do it on thurs... but they had to switch it off on mon... so not only will is miss the magnificent return of good ole spike... but i'm watching terrestrial on my rubbish little portable with crap reception!!!!

Well, I will be watching it with you pie - yoga was cancelled but I didn't find out until I'd driven the 15 mins there and hung around in the cold for 20 mins while desperate for a wee...

Still, get to watch Angel

I'll make myself feel virtuous and watch it while sitting on my birth ball...

Yes... Angel was definitely not looking as yummy this episode.

Spike ... yay! What else is there to say really?

Some great humour in the episode - nice to see they're not going to take themselves too seriously and keep that element in the series. I loved it when Angel strolled down casually to the cars and then ran around like a kid in a toy shop saying how beautiful they were

Bea - don't panic, Spike only appeared right at the end. Think Angel is looking a bit puffy these days.
Charisma Carpenter is definitely out, but will be appearing for an episode to wrap the character up.
Thank goodness it's back, but can't quite adjust to Tuesdays.

Yeah, DB is looking old these days. We've been re-watching season 1 of Buffy on video and he was quite baby faced (and GORGEOUS!) way back then. One of my friends (not a fan, but I like her in all other ways so I let it pass) said DB is like Elvis "inside that body is a fat man fighting to get out" and I have to confess I think she's right. Now Spike....well, he's another matter entirely >

So Charisma's left has she? Now if there was ever a woman who porked up during pregnancy it would be her! Please tell me dorky Connor has left too....

A very CROSS one for those of us who didn't even get to see the rest of Angel 3 when C5 unexpectedly binned it.

Boreanaz is definitely a porker IMO. Spike by contrast is so utterly gorgeous...

If anyone missed last night's series 5 opener it's on again on Saturday at 11.30pm, so set those videos!

On the BBC cult site it says that C5 is due to show the last 7 episodes of Angel series 3 starting Tuesday 6th April at 11.30pm. I have no idea why the terrestrial stations are so crap at scheduling Angel.

On the spoiler sites it's unclear as to whether Connor will return - what a whiner he was I'm very glad he's gone. Also I don't think there was anywhere else to go for Cordy's character.

Love the Harmony part...Gunn seems the weakest character atm. Seems a lot sharper & funnier with Joss Whedon scripting it.

MI, if you don't catch it for any reason let me know. I tape it at MILs and keep it for my sister to watch. I haven't seen the first episode yet, watching it tonight with DH although already been over MILs to pick it up.
Angel and Spike together, its the stuff dreams are made of.

I have seen episodes 4 to 8 already though.......very interesting.......
