Yackerty >> You must be excited about your holidays, when are you leaving? And how long do you still have at work? Went seeing mw yesterday and she said I'm having another big baby, not sure if that's supposed to be a good thing :)

DD is alright, got a bit of a cold so I'm guessing it's the mmr side effects quicking in? we had a bit of a rough night but I'm sure she'll be fine. Got a shoot for a magazine next week, hopefully she'll be alright by then, we'll see!

Izzy,was it you who had 4d scan and if so where did you go for it?
DD1 has casting friday but its not for Boden,have booked her out for whole of may as she has SATs,so unless DD2 suddenly gets really busy i probably wont be posting here for a while.

ds has been booked for mothercare this week. however, that's all i know dont know where we are supposed to be going!! yack when your little man did mothercare was the shoot in london? and were there loads of kids there?

Yay....congrats to your DS Cyan Grin We did the shoot near Hammersmith in a house/studio. When we were there they started with small (4/5month) babies and then worked up in age, they had 2 children for every outfit (so a 50/50 chance of getting used Grin) and I think that they had 1/2 time slots so there was about 5-6 there at anytime some on there way in and some on there way out - if that makes sense but that was for the catalogue. Sorry not much help really!! Really excited for you.

i dont have a clue what it is for?!! at the casting there were quite a few kids but all of different ages, there was a little lad a month older than ds but i thought he was about 18 months he made the little man look tiny!!! we shall just have to wait and hear?!

hi all just got back from casting, i went on the tube in the end. met marymay and her gorgous dd at the casting so that was nice, not many children at this one loads and loads of 20-50 year olds , it was very well organized very flowing if you know what i mean, so will have to wait and see what happens.

dd got an audition for mary popins in the west end so will be trecking back up to london next week and good thing is it's not an open audition, invite only.

congrats to those with castings/jobs coming up :)

Nothing at all for us... bubblegum said they hope to speak 2 u soon for some jobs... but nothing at the moment :)

Im starting a hiphop exercise class 2moro... should be a giggle. I used to dance from the age of 3 until I was about 15 and went to all england finals a few times so really excited about getting back into dancing :) I think also it will help with my fitness.

Anyway enough of me rambling on... good luck everyone catch up with you all soon x

it was for a casting company, me and marymay have been trying to fathum what it is for but we think it is: you go to the casting to be put in the casting companies photo library for six months then the clients contacts the casting company with a brief for models and the casting company submit models for the job with no casting because they have already had the casting ie like my dd and marymays dd did today, so i guess it is a way of not having to to there own castings, i hope that makes sence.

hi ya all... everythings very quite here, only 5 days till my hols i cannot wait, altho.. theres to much preparation involved... sounds like there is loads of excieting things happening for some of u guys here tho, izzyrubi.. i had that scan done as welll, its great isnt it.. did u get the dvd of it as well, i had mine done at 35 weeks and watched it for an hour a day till i had him, i found it so relaxing,,, hope u r all well,,,x

Lost the plot AGAIN! I need to make notes as I read this thread - I know someone's DD is very poorly with goopy ears and antibiotic treatment - someone is doing hip-hop - there have been several castings and an audition or two - but I forgot the specific names! (Banging head on computer desk!)

Problem is...I don't check in every day and post when I see something mentioned.

Not much has been happening here. An audition for a C4 advert for Big Brother happened on Monday. DS isn't the rock star sort so it won't come to anything. Glad he had the experience though. Nothing from Monsoon yet. If I haven't heard by tomorrow afternoon, I assume that he hasn't got it. Bless him, he's forgotten all about the casting anyway.

I gotta spill this though - something has happened for me! I think. Someone came around about a show and we are trying to jig it so that I can participate and DH can take the kiddos on holiday at the same time. I had to tell SOMEONE! Not a word has been spoken to any of my friends here. I CAN'T CONTAIN IT ANY LONGER! Waiting on pins and needles to hear if they will be able to sort something out for my family. If they can't, I won't be able to do it. FINGERS CROSSED! I am nearly wetting myself with anxiety! I need all your good luck vibes, ladies!!!! PLEASE!

i cannot believe how mad this is.. i sent off some pictures of ds to inspired kids, by web and waited ages to get a reply..so i sent some pictures to there address, in the mean time i got a no via email,, and then today i have had a call saying about a interview from the pictures i sent to them,, all the same baby and practically the same pictures,, how mad is that!!!!!! same baby gets a no and then offered anb interview within two weeks lol...................................
