Have just been looking, those kids are all gorgeous, makes me want to get married but dp won't Sad We buying a campervan instead Grin

yackertyyack · 20/04/2006 12:44

yeah.....i was looking for dresses to wear (not wedding but something weddingish) as I have got a wedding the day baby is due and another one the week before!!!! Do I buy 2 in case baby has arrived or do I wait till the last possible minute until baby gets here and then buy something new ??? What are the chances of me, newborn and toddler getting out of the house to go clothes shopping??!!Grin

mythumbelinas · 20/04/2006 12:47

thanks again yacks, i have seen the wedding ones :) printed them out!!
mykidsmum .. not married? .. not missing much .. hehe .. my wedding was a basic affair :(

mythumbelinas · 20/04/2006 12:56

hmm, tricky one yackerty. So close to when baby is due .. but i s'pose best to buy two, and if you don't use one and probs never will then get a refund

izzyrubi · 20/04/2006 13:31

yackerty >> Hmm it's a tricky one esp. because your ds was born earlier, if it was me I would buy only one but dd was overdue so in my mind I'm expecting this one to be as well, we'll see! The good thing is that nowadays it's so easy to buy a dress that it would only take you a couple of hours, plus you shouldn't forget that you might be at the hospital... I would only buy one dress Smile

izzyrubi · 20/04/2006 14:54

gotta go for photoshooting next week in Old Street, hope it's not too much of a hassle to get there...

yackertyyack · 20/04/2006 15:04

Izz.....could do with this one arriving in between the hen nights and weddings!! Grin Think the new website is excellent...a great idea and will be really useful.
Old street is near where I used to work where abouts are you looking for??

izzyrubi · 20/04/2006 16:02

Yackerty >> It's Kingsland Road, do you know it? I'll have a look on the map!

Pauline from CK is seriously the nicest person ever, she called me now to say that dd has been put forward for a job and we ended up having a long chat, she's really nice! Smile

izzyrubi · 20/04/2006 16:06

yackerty and mykidsmum >> I forgot to mention that I'm glad you liked the website, hopefully will be a good thing, most agencies seem very excited about it which is a good thing I think! Now I just need to spread the word around Smile

razzamatazz · 20/04/2006 17:38

Izzy - hope your dd is ok after her MMR. Bet you are glad it's over with!

As for Old Street, that's where I was yesterday and I actually drove there! As I'm in Hampshire, getting the train in and all the tube changes, just wasn't worth the hassle. If you time it right, you can miss all the traffic and it isn't too bad a drive. It is in a congestion charge zone so you will have to pay for that. Hope that helps!

izzyrubi · 20/04/2006 17:52

Razza >> I'm also in Hampshire!!! Smile Unfortunately I can't drive so I have to get on the train and tube unless my dh is free, so fingers crossed he'll get off work!

razzamatazz · 20/04/2006 17:58

Oh dear! Hope your dh manages to get the day off. You can have a look at www.thetube.com to find out different routes if you decide to use public transport.

tinkerbellchelle · 20/04/2006 18:27

izzy love the website - think its a great idea!!!

hope everyone is well :) we're all good thanks :) very quiet here but something somewhere might pop up x

speak 2 u all soon. I think I can do the 29th meet up... whos going?

mythumbelinas · 20/04/2006 18:49

Hi tink, should be tigeryuan, cyan, izzy and myself going for the meet up
izzy, as always i seem to miss added links :S .. have had a look now at your website and it's great :)
Kingsland Rd will be quite a trek for you .. do hope your dh can help you out!! I can't think of any tube stations nearby. Maybe Liverpool St and then a taxi?

lanismum · 20/04/2006 18:59

izzy, kingsland road is very close to where i am, and where lani had her casting yesterday, you can go to old street and either jump on a 243 which goes along kingsland road, or get in a black cab, it will be no more than 4/5 quid.
which studios is it? is it the street studios?

izzyrubi · 20/04/2006 19:03

Thumbs >> website is \link{http://www.childmodelling.net\childmodelling.net}
As for the shooting they said that I can get a cab from Old St and they will pay for it but I think dh is getting the day off, really hope so!

Tink >> If I'm not mistaken lanismum is also joining us! It would be fantastic if you can also make it!

Razza >> where in Hants are you? there are a few of us around here! I'm in Farnborough Smile

izzyrubi · 20/04/2006 19:05

lanismum >> I don't actually know what's the name of the studios!!! I think I'll get a cab, it's probably easier...

mythumbelinas · 20/04/2006 19:07

lanismum joining us too :)
You know what? i heard yesterday that oriental city has been sold recently, so some time in the near future it will probs be shut down and think new owners are going to build more housing! I love the food court aswell!!

cyan · 20/04/2006 19:41

whens the casting izzy?

mykidsmum · 20/04/2006 19:42

I have been to Kingsland road near Old Street, i remember it because on the walk back to Old Street tube i saw a lady get knocked over, whats it for Iz? and who through?
Hope everyone is cool this evening, my kids are driving me mad x

izzyrubi · 20/04/2006 19:54

Cyan and mykidsmum >> It's on Friday 28th but not a casting, photoshooting for p&b so maybe I don't have to take dd with which will be helpful if I have to take the train/tube... I'm sure I'll survive! Grin

cyan · 20/04/2006 20:17

oh good luck, is it your last one before the baby comes? then you will have to do one after he arrives wont you?

AllieBongo · 20/04/2006 20:19
