Of course - the smoky atmosphere is the only thing that stopped me in this country and you won't have that to worry about.

Jackstini · 12/03/2006 12:36

Absolutely - you go for it. I have been out a number of times in non smoking areas up to about 36 weeks PG. It is no-one's decision but yours. Have fun

WideWebWitch · 12/03/2006 13:06

Course it is!

rummum · 12/03/2006 13:08

Arabica · 12/03/2006 13:18

Yes, why on earth not? I'm going out with girlfriends next week for cocktails (non alcoholic one for me).

cece · 12/03/2006 13:19

YES GO while you still can .....Grin

Prufrock · 12/03/2006 13:39

Why on earth not? I went out to a bar the night before both my c-sections! And I even treated myself to a glass of champagne!

cyan · 12/03/2006 14:24

definately!!

Caligula · 12/03/2006 14:25

It's only socially unacceptable among rednecks and busybodies.

Go!

jellyjelly · 12/03/2006 17:21

I went out when pregnant and the amount of dirty looks i got and i wasnt drinking or smoking, i say go for it and i would do it next time.

paolosgirl · 12/03/2006 17:22

As long as you're not downing the pints! Go and have a lovely time Smile

Pixel · 12/03/2006 20:26

I lived in a pub through both my pregnancies so didn't have much choice. Got fed up with orange juice though!

Enjoy yourself Smile

nulnulcat · 12/03/2006 20:41

was always out, watched rugby world cup final week before my due date, friends all told me if i went into labour during the game then i would have to keep legs crossed as no one would be taking me to hospital! funniest moment was when i got my bum pinched and the blokes face when i turned round with my huge bump! priceless Grin

alexsmum · 12/03/2006 21:03

god absolutely yes! go for it!
i remember being in the pub at 38 weeks pregnant and having to explain to someone that my 'pint' was of kaliber shandy!

nulnulcat · 12/03/2006 21:21

and everyone moves out of your way when you try to get through a crowded pub and you get to jump the queue in the toilets!!

Blu · 12/03/2006 21:32

You can have ONE drink...maybe two!

Tommy · 12/03/2006 21:32
