is it ok for pregnant women to go to the pub on a night out?

i was thinking of going out before baby is born in june with a friend once the no smoking ban is in force. i wont be drinking other than coke. but i was wondering if it is socially acceptable.

of course you can go to the blinkin pub. and you can even - gasp - have a half or 2 or beer. but the no smoking ban doesn't come in until next year

cod thats excatly what ive done for the last two weeks and im going clubbing next weekend ive never had so much energy

im in scotland, so it comes into force on the 26th of this month

Then I think it is your duty to go and celebrate the smoking ban in style!!

Make the most of having a social life while you can - who gives a toss what is socially acceptable anyway - why wouldn't it be acceptable for a pregnant woman to be out enjoying herself? Go for it!
