Ok next month I'm going to buy one too i've truly been sucked into the MN way of life, I now shop at Ocado...Organic products only, I make my own bread (by hand not breadmaker) We only eat non- processed foods, I'm also buying reusable nappies next month and next is the mooncup. Smile

A word of advice - do it over the bog!

And give yourself a few months to perfect the technique. We are not born mooncup wranglers. Grin

OK. Seduced by the MN mooncup posse, I got myself one. Lovely! Comfy, primitive, and wonderful. Then came the time to take it out.. OMG - an experience akin to giving birth, but without the ventouse and painkillers. There i was bearing down, grunting, farting, with my fingers aching and cramp in my legs, starting to panic, without the benefit of gas and air. Eventually got hold of the little bugger and hoicked it out. "Sorely" disappointed.
Have looked at the mooncup website for help, and am intrigued by this comment from a user:
"The Mooncup is brilliant. I've had it for 7 years and it's still going strong. When I'm wearing it I don't notice it at all. ...It also means I can save the blood for my plants and my paintings."
Bleurgh. Feel a failure in the mooncup department. Like natural birth - you can either do it or you can't. Some of us just can't.
