2 and 3 are the same!

why is number 2/3 so much cheaper than one?

I like the look of 4, but the small room is small isn't it? and there is no garden?

starlover · 07/03/2006 21:31

i'd be tempted to go for 2/3 because it's a semi and had most garden

niceglasses · 07/03/2006 21:31

Ohh I like no4 looks lovely...but think 2 and 3 the same?? Not too far away from me .......I'm in Whitley Bay.

Mirage · 07/03/2006 21:31

Don't like no's 2 & 3 (aren't they the same house?),but then again,I don't like modern houses.They tend to be smaller & badly soundproofed.

I'd love no1.That is my type of house!

Nbg · 07/03/2006 21:31

Grrrrr

2 and 3 are the same house?
No character IMO
The first house has nice kitchen
I prefer house no 4 but it has one less bedroom....

starlover · 07/03/2006 21:33

yes that one! i like that one best

Piffle · 07/03/2006 21:34

no 3 good value could do that up a treat but still prfer no 4

starlover · 07/03/2006 21:34

oooh only it has no bath???? only a shower room

Mhamai · 07/03/2006 21:35

3 for me

Nbg · 07/03/2006 21:37

Oooh good responses!

Just wanted to see what other peoples thoughts were on them as they are all different and each have good and bad points.

The house we're in atm has a big garden, long drive (can park 3 cars) but is only 2 bed.

The area is so fab I think I'd live in a box.

Going solely on the schedules I would pick the new number 3, closely followed by number 4, then number 1, IMO number 2 has no soul.

turniphead · 07/03/2006 21:39

1 or 4 - is 1 bigger?

no 2 is souless

Linnet · 07/03/2006 21:40

I like no. 1

MrsSpoon · 07/03/2006 21:41

Should add, I pick no 3 because it looks bigger and is still old with a bit of character, no 4 is more my sort of thing but it looks really small, could be deceptive though.

Hulababy · 07/03/2006 21:41

House No 1

Looks a good size, but difficult with no sizes. 4 bed plus ensuite is good :) Kitchen looks very light and airy, and quite a bit of space - what comes with it and what spaces are there for appliances? Says part glazed - how much is double glazed and how much needs doing? Personally not keen on the two fireplaces, but easily rectified. I am assuming it has no parking. Is there a garden? Is there rear access to the garden?

House No 2 and 3 (they link to same house!)

Not as big, but more land to it. Has all double glazing. Nice new kitchen is good - again, check what spaces you have for appliances. Downstairs toilet always handy. Bathroom is all white which is good. Again, not keen on fireplace. Very simply decorated by looks of it - plus point for me. Looks like it has a decent sized garden and a patio area. Any off road parking?

House No 4

Like the quaint look of this one, pretty than the others. Again you need to check what the on road parking situation is like as no offroad parking space or garage. No mention of any doubling glazing. Back garden is a yard - so no lawn for the children to play on, but can ride bikes/scooters better out there. It doesn't look that big iside - I can't follow the metric measurements (LOL)! The bathroom is white :) but looks more cramped in. Plain decor so good for having a blank canvas to start with. Says fitted kitchen, but no picture - description suggests it is all units, etc fitted and no appliances included.

All 3 worth having a closer look.

Polgara2 · 07/03/2006 21:41

What about the gardens though, most of them only have a yard at the back - how important is that to you?

lucy5 · 07/03/2006 21:42

number 4, then number 1 dont like 2 or 3.

Nbg · 07/03/2006 21:42

1 is bigger.
It has 2 reception rooms and dining room.

I love No.1 but it's at the top end of our budget and only has a decked courtyard
but it's done out well, has character and is in a fab location.

My second fave is No2 and I think it has bags of potential plus I think we could get it lower than the asking price.

No bath and only a shower room would be a big negative for me, and could make a house harder to sell on later. It reduces your market.

turniphead · 07/03/2006 21:43

location, location, location Wink

starlover · 07/03/2006 21:43

i like 2 as well nbg in terms of it being a semi, all that garden etc etc

but i like the look of 3 much better! and i am a sucker for things like that! lol

i would definitely want a garden

Nbg · 07/03/2006 21:44

No no
My second fave is 3, sorry.

I did another link further down.

There is parking with no.1

OP posts:
starlover · 07/03/2006 21:44

i reckon with the new 3 that if you could put a bath in then i'd go for it.
if there isn't any space it'd make me reconsider i think.

but why is number 2 so cheap??
