prayers, candles, chants, hand holding for Aillidh....they are working their magic.

Our third thread.....this mornings update is such a hopeful and positive one, it is showing just how wonderful and magical the power of love and prayer can be....it is helping Ailidh fight and showing Expat how loved and supported they are.

in case you missed it, this is precious Aillidhs update as of 11am.

Aillidh update: her CRP has dropped from 170 to 90! Her counts . . . are rising! Slight improvement in chest xray. Keep it coming, all, please keep it coming!!xxx

Maybe I should have phrased it someone I haven't met in rl. Sorry if the words I wrote caused offence. Of course they are not strangers in the true sense if the word and are firmly in all our hearts.

I have no words to say .This is just so awful and i really feel for Aillidh ,Expat and all her family at this moment.Just hoping that things can still be turned around.x

I don't know if this appropriate, but I just feel so helpless so I'm running the London 10k on Sunday in aid of CLICSargent, the charity that helps children with cancer and their families. I decided to run for them after reading about Aillidh and also UnlikelyAmazonian's ds who also has leukaemia. Thread here.

MrsDeVere is also doing the run in aid of The Teenage Cancer Trust. Her just giving page here

Hang in there little one x thinking of you constantly, not really the praying type but hoping and willing and wishing that it will turn around.

Finding everybody involved inspirational.

Birnamwood: ultimately, research is the only thing that will help us beat these diseases, and research needs money. Raising that money is the only tangible thing the rest of us can do, hope you have a great run.

She keeps pinging back and forth - from sats in the low 70s on 89% O to 60s and needing 100%. Am going to get a shower to wake myself up.

Now have an angel holding a heart next to my candle for Aillidh, every little helps.

Birnamwood good luck on Sunday ....my friend is running as well in aid of a friend of ours who has a brain tummor and i am going along to support her ...I will be cheering you on as well and everyone one else who do these wonderful things so that the research can be done to to fight these horrible diseases.
