Our third thread.....this mornings update is such a hopeful and positive one, it is showing just how wonderful and magical the power of love and prayer can be....it is helping Ailidh fight and showing Expat how loved and supported they are.

in case you missed it, this is precious Aillidhs update as of 11am.

Aillidh update: her CRP has dropped from 170 to 90! Her counts . . . are rising! Slight improvement in chest xray. Keep it coming, all, please keep it coming!!xxx

I love the map idea. What a great way to show Ailidh and her family just how many people round the world are routing for her.

Yesterday was the 10th anniversary of my son becoming ill with meningitis when he was 8 months old. He was admitted to a PICU in Edinburgh, a great distance from our home town, and he spent 5 weeks there altogether and a further 4 weeks in our local hospital. I can empathise, to a degree, with Expat. It was the most terrible thing for me to sit and watch my baby all hooked up to machines and feel so helpless. He's now a strapping ten year old, nearly as tall as me.

I'm hoping and wishing the same for Ailidh. That she makes a complete and total recovery. Keep going lovey xxx

Aillidh update: she had a stable night. She is stable. Has just had xray and bloods. I am about to faint with stress and worry over these. She is here. Every day she is here is a miracle in itself. Am waiting for my mother to get here. This is very, very hard."

I've been praying since the first thread. As I'm reading this the sun has just broken out, shining with love for Aillidh. When I can I will pin for each place I've prayed for her, UAE, west Yorkshire and now London. Xxx
