Twaddle. An infection is caused by bugs inside you. The only way she got ill was by having those bugs in her. being cold might have lowered her resistance to fighting the bugs, that is all.

Im 23, last night DD and I watched Dancing on Ice drinking milk and eating biscuits. When she went to bed I watched Just the Two of Us then had an early night.
