Following on from the truly skint thread I bet there are lots of us with things we have that we would be prepared to send to those who are really struggling. I don't want to insult anyone by offering things but at the same time I want to help if I can. I have boys clothes and shoes up to age 5 and black school trousers age six. Pm me. Anyone else have anything

This is a lovely thread and I would just publicly like to thank twirlyagogo for her kind help.

Not only does it mean a lot to me in terms of my DS having a coat that fits but it means the world to me that there are people out there who care that some of us are struggling and want to help. I felt quite embarrassed posting my request yesterday as it felt like begging and I am a proud person but I have been made to feel worthwhile of help.

Various women's clothes size 16-18 if anyone is interested. My weight goes up and down all the time!

I have a pair of size 8G girls Clarks brown bugglies shoes. They have been worn but are in good condition. They have my daughter's name inside but crossed out. Please PM me if you are interested I would be happy to post them.

Does anyone have any outgrown girls white school blouses in the straight forward shirt style in age 8/9 please? Dd is only 5.5yo, but is so tall that she's out of her smaller sizes. I give hers away all the time, but as she's the tallest by a head, I rarely get any thrown my way!

I posted on the original thread but have just seen this so posting here too. I don't think I have much to offer at the moment as I gave away most baby stuff but I have found the following if they would be of use to anyone.

3x drop cup maternity/nursing bras in size 36E from Mothercare. They are clean and in good condition although a little yellowed (not too much but they're white)

Also I have found a brand new river island jumper black and white stripes, size 12 with tags on it (Christmas present from inlaws which didn't fit and no reciept). Might make a good Christmas present to put aside for a teenage DD.

I have lots of girls clothes aged 110 -12 ish ... Also lots of baby girls clothes upto 18 months or so... A few bits for little boys ( 0-6 months )
Re usable nappies - bumgenius I think .. and lots and lots of books and toys for various ages ... I am a size 12-14 and have spare clothes, and will happily raid mine and my kids wardrobes for those who need anything specific :)

I grew up very poor - single mum at uni, no heating at all, sleeping in clothes under two duvets .. rationed food ...never any new clothes or anything like that ..my favourite childhood memory is of my mum coning to my school to meet me - (she never did that ) and giving me a £5 note and saying lets go to the toy shop - she had just got a ft job ........ it was the BEST day ever...

anyway, have been there , and would be pleased to help any of you who are struggling - life can be shite .... but am very happy to share what we have :)

OK, am not at home to see exactly what I have but I do know I have an opened packet of girls Huggies pyjama pants, age 4-7, which I won't use - I think there's maybe 5 left? And I have ~3 nursing bras, Emma Jane, size 34H. These have been well-used but still have some life left in them. Will post, but cannot till Friday. PM me.

Oops also two BNWT wooly hats from Next - 3-6 months but would fit bigger as I think would fit my nearly 9 month old

I am loving the idea of this thread. We were skint when dc was little but first of our friends to have a baby. No-one to pass anything onto us!. Now we are fortunately better off and no-one seems to want anything handing on.
I will post soon with a list of stuff I am happy to post (free) to anyone who needs it.

Will be boys clothes/shoes up to age 11 and some women's stuff., oh and some brand new bedding.

I have tonnes of books and if someone would like a book..I'm happy to post out. Please pm me if there is a specific title you fancy never know I may have..(was in a book club a while back and brought things) not got any recent things as too skint but happy to re-cycle them all.

Just a thought as lots of people offering here and hope people are taking up offers but please do hope people aren't too embarrassed or proud to ask for something specific (have seen a few posts but bet there more out there) as I think everyone would appreciate that.

I know I have things that are brand new 'treat items' such as some CK perfume and brand new toiletry sets and am sure they could make someone happy to receive a wee 'gift' in times of feeling so low and fed up.. let me know again, happy to post.
