Following on from the truly skint thread I bet there are lots of us with things we have that we would be prepared to send to those who are really struggling. I don't want to insult anyone by offering things but at the same time I want to help if I can. I have boys clothes and shoes up to age 5 and black school trousers age six. Pm me. Anyone else have anything

Is anyone in a position to offer blue denim for patching, please? Roughly one jeans leg badly needed.

can only recommend you read the thread addicted I also wouldn't have thought people were in such crappy situations in terms of not being able to afford the basics. So that's why I'd rather pass them on to someone who wouldn't be able to buy them at the moment.

Various pieces of size 14 clothes - blouses, skirts etc - or will go to local charity shop....

JustGetting I have lots of fabric scraps, I never throw any out. I'll have a look and PM you later on if I have any. Does it need to be a particular shade of denim (indigo, stonewash etc) or would any do?

I have a couple of maternity items - brand new floaty shirt and pencil skirt - both 12 - 14 - never been worn. Would be happy to post them to someone who needs them and would do me good not to see them hanging in my wardrobe

I also have quite a few girls clothes for 9 - 11 year old! Bit of a mixed bag so let me know what you need & I'll have a dig through & see what I have! Might have few pairs of shoes - sizes 2 - 3 - girls but all worn but not worn out IYKWIM!

I have LOADS of books, which I've read but feel guilty throwing away. Generally chic lit type books. I'm West Yorkshire but work Wakefield/Barnsley and surrounding areas so if you want them and you're anywhere around West Yorks PM me and I'll drop off happily for you.

Clothes in varying sizes from 10 to 16, as I'm currently in a 16 and dieting, trying to get back down to 10 but need wardrobe space as I'm bursting at the seams. Do please PM if any help. I've got quite a few bits that would be good for work wear, or casual-jeans, etc. And size six shoes.

Hi there, does anyone have any tops or bottoms suitable for work in a size 16-18? I'm down to 1 pair of trousers, 1 skirt and 3 tops... it's dire...

Also, ds (12) desperately needs a pair of black school trousers (he's small so age 10-12 fits) and some plain black shoes (big size 5-6)as the cheap pair I bought on email split in the sole after 2 weeks

I have some toddler girls clothes aged 18 months to 2 years if they are any use to someone?? (also cot bumper etc)

Have put on both threads - brand new for a girl - (says US 13-14) H&M 164cm apple green cropped summer trousers, matching floral blouse/top and vest top (white with blue and green flowers), also Gap matching short sleeved t shirt. Pic on profile. Really nice, would be lovely for birthday gift - or eBay if you need to, but please, as someone else said, in the spirit of the thread, please do leave for someone who truly needs them.

Pic on profile - brand new with tags, New Look 34D bra, underwired and matching knickers, also new with tags. Pink and coloured gingham, would say it is for a small 34D not a generous one!

Pic on profile - Marks and Spencer cyberman costume from Dr Who (I think!). Age 3-4, great condition, can't see anything wrong with it - don't think it was used actually as no Dr Who fans here . . . could make someone very happy!

Ha ha, no its a slightly bigger size. I bought it, all proud, thinking DS2 would like it. He looked like this and said 'thats not Mario Brothers!'

I have a pair of BNWT but not this year's black jeans from Cotton Traders. Size 16 and length 29".

Ladies Gelert thin waterproof jacket size 16 in a purple/blue colour - not new but fine to wear.

Also a couple of brightly coloured thin ethnic type scarves - one pink and one green. Think they were freebies from somewhere.

Gap shoes, brown and orange, leather and suede, unworn - the size is the problem. Cut label off before DS decided he didn't like them - so, I think they're for age 4. Perhaps someone could take them if they were a little smaller so they could definitely grow into them? Perfect condition, velcro straps.
