Following on from the truly skint thread I bet there are lots of us with things we have that we would be prepared to send to those who are really struggling. I don't want to insult anyone by offering things but at the same time I want to help if I can. I have boys clothes and shoes up to age 5 and black school trousers age six. Pm me. Anyone else have anything

This is MN at it's best. Been here 5 yrs under various names and it never ceases to amaze me how complete strangers can be more generous than ones own friends at time.

lagoon I have a boys over the head waterproof I can pass on to you. DS only just grown out of it and he's 7yo and just into a 7-8 so should be the right size.
It was given to me so will be 3rd hand but other MNers have offered me stuff and I'm really pleased to be able to return the gesture. PM me your address if you'd like it.

BTW its regatta or something I think and looks fairly new and also folds into itself I think like a mac in a bag type thing. Its red and blue.

All toddler clothes packed up and ready to go ( please excuse black bag wrapping). Mans blue top still here and cat food/ toys still available for local (nottingham) pick up

I have some boys shoes not sure of sizes, probably 10 or 11. Will check tomorrow and post again. Also have a few bits of boys clothes ages 3-4 ds has outgrown. I will look.

I have some long lightweight unisex circus themed curtains from Ikea. Cream/white background with blue/red/yellow etc

I have some long curtains with bedcover to match.......they are in good condition but are slightly old fashioned!!

Also, some curtains suitable for a young boy with matching quiltcover (is a double cover but could be altered easily I think)

I still have black size 16 maternity leggings

But also Newborn / 0-3 girls clothes inc bootees and scratch mitts,
Sleep suits (x8) vests (x 13) t-shirts x3

Also 3-6 months girls clothes inc tops, 3 pairs leggings, 2 pairs of shorts, jeans ( 3 pairs - m&s) denim pinafore worn twice, white lined cardigan with pink flower buttons and hood (TU), vests (x2), denim dress, denim dungarees and 3 pairs of frilly knickers (matalan) with the tags still on!

Baby boys clothes for various sizes up to 9 months inc new born Gap cardigan and first size boys swim trunks

Baby boy 18-24 months denim jacket with fire engine

Boys brown furry TU jacket with hood. 2-3 years. Been through wash a few times but plenty of life left in it and DS loved it.

The baby whisperer book - bit dog eared !

babloogirl i might have some girls clothes you can have. I am planning to go through DD2's clothes this week and can send you any she has outgrown. It will be mainly 18-24 months and some 2-3yrs (a bit big for your DD yet). PM me your address if you are interested

Elephant, nappies and dress gone

The other things are still looking for homes although some are bulkier and will need postage covered or collection.

Also if anyone has DC studying Shakespeare, Hardy or Dickens and need copies of texts I have most works by the above, ditto for poetry and some teenage age range reference books.

I have got loads of worn girls Clarks shoes from first pair to aged 3. Lots of life left. I am happy to post. PM me for a particular size and I will have a look for you.

Does anyone happen to have a white tshirt in age 4-5?

They have just annouced today at nursery that they need to bring in a plain white tshirt that they can decorate for 'Olympics day' :( Why do they always leave these things until the last minute?!
