Agency I am with has changed their commission from 20% to 25% - has anyone else been informed of an increase?

totallyfloaty35 · 16/02/2006 21:03

Marymay,im sure she will work soon, its a quiet time at mo.B&B told me most work is for age 4-9yrs.then it goes quiet until they are in teens.BABIES ITS NEWBORN-2YRS.
Have finally narrowed down aupair applicants to 2,had a rather alarming 116 applicantsnow got to choose between a german and a Finnish girl, and you know how bad i am at choosing

totallyfloaty35 · 16/02/2006 21:04

misdee · 16/02/2006 21:04

yes we are. just gotta get organised. dh says i should send in pics of the othger two as well, i am not so sure. i dont know if my sensitive dd1 would take rejection. and i want her to concentrate at school. she has enough time off as it is.

Gumbee · 16/02/2006 21:20

Currently with BK - but not happy with them, have recently registered with AK and they said their terms have now changed and in line with DTi, commission is now 25%.

yackertyyack · 16/02/2006 21:27

Izz >> not feeling too bad - back to work monday for a couple of months I would love a 4d scan but can't really justify the money! Plus I am a high risk category this time so will be having scans every couple of weeks!!! But let us know what its like though.

yackertyyack · 16/02/2006 21:29

SD went out and bought one without me knowing and came back with a mothercare pushchair lazy. we took it to croatia and venice in the summer and it was v easy to use. they are the ones that come in pink, camouflage, blue etc diff colours had £10 off the other week. also good for tube to go to castings never ever would take charlies 3 wheeler on the train!

alliep30 · 16/02/2006 21:45

is it for the tube etc izzy? then a maclaren triuphm is good as it reclines slightly and is light and has a carry strap. the volo is light (4.2kgs? 9lb?) but doesnt recline.

cyan · 16/02/2006 21:57

I bought a 3 wheeler travel system when charlie was born, biggest waste of money only used it til he was about 4 months and even so used to carry him about in a sling. a mamas and papas pilko which my auntie gave me, a graco which my tutor gave me, and the mothercare one. trying to get rid of the first 3!

hi 7s ill laugh if charlies a veggie i reckon that would be pretty cool. will let you know, not sure which day we are going on yet.

izzy when are you going to SA?

it's charlie's party on saturday, and he will be one on sunday can't believe it. also he's started taking his first steps unaided this week god help me!!

ah hes walking cyan! exclent, i found liam a lot happier once he could walk around, find i keep saying "no" all the time when hes got his head in my kitchen cupboards tho.

ive got a graco which my mum bought as its so light, under 8lb, as ive got a dodgy elbow from a few ops on it so couldnt push heavy one. i love it, its so easy to collapse

cyan · 16/02/2006 22:04

does that mean you will miss it? arent you going to be away then? just had a look on elisabeth smiths website they have just put a load of new babies on their 25 pages of babies under 2. just spotted someone i went to school with her little girl is on there.
