Don't buy from.....

Fem-nn.com. I ordered a corset from them on 13th October, and it still hasn't arrived, and I keep getting fobbed off with pathetic excuses. I've just written them a snotty email saying deliver it or refund me. Dreadful service, and a different excuse every time I get a reply, from being ordered in from abroad to in a backlog of post, to not been shipped yet, blah blah blah.

Comet are a load of lying tossers agree with you spacemonkey have let me down twice and they never can be bothered to serve you.unless you can buy something and take it away I wouldn't bother.The trick to getting served in there is go and stand by the most expensive thing you can find in there then they come running and then tell them what you really want.

I hate all forms of computer retailers with a passion. There's something about the know it all lads that inevitably staff the places that really winds me up. When I was in NZ recently I went window shopping for digital cameras. I was passing through Singapore on my way back so I thought I'd get an idea of prices first. After one particularly bad half hour with a spotty littly t**t who patronised me beyound belief I called the manager over and asked him to explain to his staff that it might be a good idea for his sales staff to think twice before treating lone mothers with small children like morons as I am a computing lecturer (true, but means university in NZ, not college) and he had just lost a large sale. Then swanned out - and tripped over the door ledge on the way oout.

Well the corset has arrived, and suprise surprise it's a pile of poop, and it's too short. So I emailed them to ask to return it. They have said yes , send it to the address below, and we will refund you MINUS 5%!!!!!. And they sneakily haven't sent the address, and I only have 10 days from their ok to return it. I have emailed them and called them to find out where to send it to, but they haven't replied (answerphone). Am getting v cross. Anyone know where I stand legally with this if I don't get it to them within the time they stated, because they didn't give me the info?

Lou, look here

If they fail to give you the information you need, you have 3 months to return the goods. Also note that they should tell you about any deductions for returned goods before you buy. If it's not on the website, then they should pay you back everything (including your postage to them by the looks of it)

PS best search the website for a returns address though as they could sneakily use that as an excuse.

Hi Lou33, they do seem EXTREMELY dodgy and I would definitely report them to Trading Standards. I looked at the website, and apart from thinking you must be a foxy minx , I was really bothered by the lack of phone nos and addresses on the website. However, I have googled and found the following:
Contact name: Sofiya, mobile 07930 632494 and the address Fem-nn.com, London W9 2FE, 020 7266 9123. Go get 'em! BTW the trading standards office you need is for Westminster, I think.

Well you see the website is a bit confusing, because on the one hand they say about a no quibble full refund, then they say about 5% coming off. Which is it? I think I will just send it to Fem n-n with the postcode and sod em. It should get there with a postcode shouldn't it?

Right, now it's getting a bit more confusing. The website is fem-nn.com, and has the same 0207 number as the one you gave aloha, but on doing a yell search for them, I found a company called Feminine Lingerie, which has the same mobile number as the one you listed, but with a different address and postcode. So now I don't know where to send it!

Lucy, your site interested me, especially the comment about delivering goods within 30 days. After saying 10 - 14 days, they changed it to 28 days, but it was delivered after 36 days!

Returns Policy Items can be returned for full refund within 10 days as long as they are unused and in the original packing. Postage charge applies.

Just wrote a snotty email to the complaints section, but I suspect it is the same person.

Still no reply. I just called the mobile number, and got through to a woman, who couldn't get me off the phone quick enough. She wouldn't give me the address over the phone, saying to call the landline. I told her that I had , and there had been no reply. She said she will get back to me with the correct address. Hmmmm......

She did say that I shouldn't worry about the return date though, as I have tried to get in touch. Let's hope she means it.

I managed to find the invoice they sent me ages ago (funny how that made it here no probs), and found an address on that, so I am sending it back tomorrow. Really want to do horrible but unnoticeable things to it before I post it, but my grown up side is preventing me.

Hi Gen, it was one I could use as lingerie or going out in. Wanted one that came over my hips a bit, and just made me look great really .

Do you have a picture? If you look on my site, the top and bottom pictures are corsets. Both are not too low past the hips and one can sit quite comfortably.
