Feeling so sad

I haven't gone out (as you'll have gueesed by now).

I text my friend as soon as I left work at 6.45 to see if she'd had any luck getting a sitter.

She eventually texts back at 7.45 to say that she had one and was already out.

She wanted me to go join her (as an after thought) but the kids were already going to bed so no one to drop me off.

Am sat here now thinking she obviously never wanted me to go in the first place.

So actually the one friend I thought I did have, I obviously don't really.

WWB's dh thinks that we are all axe murderers so I wouldn't take it personally tamba. There is a day meet up at the botanical gardens at 1.30 on Friday 6th Jan if you can make it girls. Otherwise any one in midlands is welcome to cat me to meet up somewhere for a coffee.

Yep - dh was really worried about MTS, he thought that Steven might be her pet name for her axe ... he changed his mind later on!

I can give references for mummyhill and MTS ... despite dh's doubts
