Yes.

tamba · 23/12/2005 16:41

Nooooo Hunker! Really?

ChunkerXmasCake · 23/12/2005 16:42

Cutting down massively.

tamba · 23/12/2005 16:43

But Hunker.... I'll miss you!

ChunkerXmasCake · 23/12/2005 16:44

Aw - I have to cut right back for my own sanity. Spend too long here.

FlameRobin · 23/12/2005 16:44

How could you???? I probably will be from about Feb though... guessing newborn and MN don't mix so well

ChunkerXmasCake · 23/12/2005 16:44

Why are you giving up, Anteater?

cupcakesbakingonanopenfire · 23/12/2005 16:46

I would like to cut down. The past week I've had mumsnet on almost all day.

tamba · 23/12/2005 16:47

What are you going to do instead?

Dont tell me you are going to the place called RL?

No one ever returns from there! I dont think its safe - stay here where its warm and cosy, no need to venture out into the cold...

WigWamBam · 23/12/2005 16:50

I think giving up MN ought to be my New Year's Resolution too.

Bet I can't, though.

ChunkerXmasCake · 23/12/2005 16:54

LOL! What will I do instead? Toddler and newborn...

tamba · 23/12/2005 16:56

Thats what cbeebies was invented for!

Nooooo I forbid anyone to leave mn cause then i will be friendless and all alone and may have to do some house work instead of sitting here all day!

Anteater · 23/12/2005 17:36

Massive work load in the new year spells the end!

if i gave up mn i would be condemmed to drink my coffee and eat my lunch with daytime TV -- or buy a newspaper

wewishyouamerryKITTYmas · 23/12/2005 17:40

me too same reason as hunker toddler and newborn

MIstletAOU · 23/12/2005 17:43

I've spent more time on here since ds was born, not less!! However a lot of it is lurking whilst b/fing. And I don't have to run around after a toddler either which makes a huge difference.

sobernoel · 23/12/2005 17:47

I said to dh that I would probably leave MN about now, as well. I've cut down a lot recently and don't feel so involved. Also, the dds can read now, so I can't do it while they're around!

Not sure if I have the strength of character to go completely. I'll probably come back under a new name and start loads of threads saying how much I miss me....

Nightynight · 23/12/2005 18:35

Let this be the support thread for quitters

motherinfurriercoatnoknickers · 23/12/2005 18:36

I'll try to return to the No MN Before 4.30 rule.

MIstletAOU · 23/12/2005 18:48

I'll get me coat then, Nightynight

natmeistergeneral · 23/12/2005 18:59
