crunchie · 14/12/2005 09:52

Oh Misdee that is wonderful, I really wish there was something that I could do - wave a wand or whatever

handlemecarefully · 14/12/2005 09:54

I still can't get my head around how sorted and together you are Misdee when you have to constantly lived with Peter's condition like this. I really admire you.

Good article - hopefully it will inspire more people to carry donor cards.

BoozyChristmacwoozy · 14/12/2005 09:58

I really do hope the article raises more awareness for the need of donor organs. That's a lovely photo of you and the girls.

TheVillageIdiot · 14/12/2005 09:58

Was just to about to post after eading the article but HMC says exactly what I was about to. Great article, beautiful girls!

misdee · 14/12/2005 09:59

Epiffany · 14/12/2005 10:02

Fabulous article and your girls are so so so beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bet/really hope everyone who reads, gets on the donor list.

COPPERfeelunderSantasTOP · 14/12/2005 10:13

Well done, Misdee. Hopefully it will jog the memories of thoe people who are always meaning to get around to registering as donors but forget to actually do it.

Mo2 · 14/12/2005 10:14

I echo what everyone else here has said Misdee - you really are amazing.

I'm sure everyone wishes they could help more, and the fact is that we can - at least in the broadest sense - by making more people aware of the issues surrounding Organ Donation. I followed the link to the UK transplant site and found that they have an e-mail Christmas card here:

www.uktransplant.org.uk/ukt/christmas/e-card.jsp

here

If we all sent this to friends and family then awareness might increase and even a few more donors come forward....

LilacBump · 14/12/2005 10:21

misdee, i really hope he will be home for christmas. i was always in doubt whether or not to be a donor. since i heard of peter and you, i now carry a donor card and have registered online.

misdee, what a great article. I don't think anyone could fail to be moved by that. Shame they don't have an "add your comments here" bit on their website.

After reading what Miaou wrote... is there an address for the letters section that we could write too - they can then run a pile of letters in support too.

misdee · 14/12/2005 10:55
