Things that are worth the money

The prompt for this is the ceramic hair straighteners thread, but I wondered what things people had paid that little bit extra for and thought it was really worth it.

Since having children I've spent a bit more on a really good haircut and think it's worth it because you wear hair everyday.

Anyone else invested in something and thought it worthwhile?

you'll all think i'm weird but i LOVE ironing, i get it out when dd is in bed and iron for hours and find it really therapeutic

Thanks for your comments re irons. Mine is starting to leak so I could do with a new one. I might have to gulp a bit before paying around 150gbp for an iron, that's the only problem!

I think this is a brilliant source of ideas for Christmas presents ...
