Chritmas pressies for DH's who have everything??

Am completely stuck as to what to buy DH for christmas. He has everything he needs. So much so I bought him a day out paragliding for his birthday. He still hasn't used it. He has to get permission form work first.

We're not to flush this year so we've said we won't spend much for christmas. Anyone got any bright ideas. He's a sensitive creative sort. My brain is completely stuck!

does he like whisky? I can't point you in the right direction for a really really special whisky that you can't buy in the shops but is reasonably priced??

you'll see the front page has an advert for edradour. this is a really special whisky and you can't usually buy it in shops. it's quite an unusual one as well.

£29.95 + pp from this site for a standard 10 yr old which in my books is a bloody good price considering a standard decent single malt is approx £25 in the shops.

if he's really into his whisky munz, his eyes will probably pop out of his head when he opens it. it's really quite special.

saying that, if he can't handle stronger more unusual whiskies he may not like it. who knows.

Have same prob so we do one stocking each with no single item over a fiver or tenner. We try to be clever and inventive, funny, sweet, but everything must fit. We include obligatory kiddie stocking type things choc car or cigar, a joke, satsuma and also things we always use, packet of fav ciggies or cigars, new razor, gardening,car,cooking type things depending on interests, a small book, a miniature fav booze and so on. In short i guess the stocking is proof of thought and time and how well you know the other person not about the money and if you can make them laugh. (One year I put in 20 cheap cigarette lighters individually wrapped, we don't normally wrap don't know why)Maybe a pair of pants, socks, a tie blah. You get the idea! You could even put in your love poem as that would fit brilliantly. Sorry for waffling!

How about subscription to a favourite mag (my private eye sub went down really well plus I get to read it too) or friendship of a gallery for a year if there is one near you? Gets you into exhibitions for free and no queues, lovely members' rooms etc.

my techie dp loves stuff from thinkgeek , especially their t shirts. its an american site but i have used them before and they were excellent

I got dp a session in a floatation tank last year and once he got over the shock / nerves he loved it, so much so that he wants to book a course of sessions! It is quite pricey to go in London but look around near you and you may find a better offer. If you are anywhere near Norwich, there is one there called "I Dream Of Floating" and the off peak prices are quite reasonable.

I think it is the most unusual present I have thought up - people just said "You got him what?" when I told them.
