He looks remarkably like my XH Confused

madugherowngrave · 20/10/2010 15:25

So not your dream man at all SS Grin

SarahStratton · 20/10/2010 15:28

And urban foxes are ridiculously, scarily unafraid of us. There were loads where I used to live. Tossers used to feed them and they would just stare at you as you walked past them, just a few feet from them. Lots of reports of them coming in houses, sleeping in broad daylight in gardens etc. They have lost their wariness of us and it is not a good thing.

I remember the dog theory being discussed. The family that owned the dog that was found on FB was not the right family, it was relatives and the husband had the same first name (cousins or something) They did not have a dog. Foxes stink anyway. The first thing that you would have smelt in the house/room was fox and it lingers. If there had been no scent of fox I'm sure that would have been included in their lines of enquiry as they did draft experts in regarding the likelyhood of a fox attack.

ArseFeckDrink · 20/10/2010 15:28

Eurrgh "this man" is pretty creepy..

SarahStratton · 20/10/2010 15:29

OMG no way [hgrin] Although he must have been. Once. A long time ago.

JaceyBee · 20/10/2010 15:36

Great thread maduggar, had a really interesting afternoon clicking on all the links. One thing though, sorry to be a pita but what is Jux's werewolf? Sounds terrifying, anyone got a link?

BalloonSlayer · 20/10/2010 16:11

"Moreover, no living man has ever been recognized as resembling the man of the portrait by the people who have seen this man in their dreams. "

I am not surprised. I expect he has got himself a nice toupee and been for some eyebrow waxing.

BalloonSlayer · 20/10/2010 16:15

Looking at the site again and some of the messages, some people appear to think the site is a fake.

I did thing if you looked at the face it looks like a small smiling baby with balding hair and massive eyebrows added.

madugherowngrave · 20/10/2010 16:34

Well, Ive never dreamt about him, it would have been more of a nightmare anyway!

jaceybee I cant find teh thread with teh werewolf story, but I think the jist was that a very tall (12 foot?) man lept over a very high wall and looped off down teh street in front of her. He may have been quite hairy and wearing ripped scruffy clothes or my active mind may have added that info!

madugherowngrave · 20/10/2010 16:36

Found the thread but not sure where in the thread the story is :)

Shaxx · 20/10/2010 16:45

I dreamt of a man giving me advice (I have weird nights!) but he did not look like him.

SarahStratton · 20/10/2010 17:37

"Moreover, no living man has ever been recognized as resembling the man of the portrait by the people who have seen this man in their dreams. "

Nah, I'm definitely still alive and I married him [hgrin]

AbsofCroissant · 20/10/2010 17:40

Never seen that man in my dreams. I will now (damn you MN)

misdee · 20/10/2010 17:41

spontanous human combustion

AbsofCroissant · 20/10/2010 17:46

On the fox thing - my parents had their local fox saunter into their living room, not a care in the world, during the summer, so it does happen.

I had a weirdy/creepy dream recently. DP was away on business and I was missing him like CRAZY. I woke up at about 6 in the morning, but not fully awake. I felt someone put their hand on my waist (I was lying on my side) and then felt them kiss me on the cheek and get up. I couldn't move. DP told me later that he'd woken up about the same time, and couldn't get back to sleep. I am putting it down to a combo of very lucid dreaming + sleep paralysis (though I was seriously freaked out at the time).

Mummy2Bookie · 20/10/2010 18:00

The jonbenet Ramsey case-poor little girl. Murdered Christmas night 1996 and still no justice. Only 6 years old.

twirlymum · 20/10/2010 20:02

When my mum's twin brother's wife died, she woke up in the night at exactly the time she passes away. She said she felt pain in her chest, as if her brother's heart was breaking Sad

twirlymum · 20/10/2010 20:06

Sorry, passed away, not passes.

megapixels · 21/10/2010 10:41

Anyone got anymore? :) This thread is really interesting and I've had lots of fun scaring myself silly reading the stories at night with dh away.

I watched the Killing Mum and Dad documentary on TV recently about Jeremy Bamber and it seemed quite clear cut that he was the killer. Is there any reason to think that there is any doubt about it?

I saw baby Azaria's jumpsuit and it looks like almost all the blood is concentrated around the neckline. I thought if it was a dingo attack there'd be bites on the torso or limbs as the neck would probably be the most inaccessible Confused.

Longtalljosie · 21/10/2010 10:53

Misdee - I saw a documentary on the wick effect and it convinced me...

WhoAteAgentZigzagsBrain · 21/10/2010 13:33

From what I've seen mega, there was evidence not released to his defence people until recently.

A phone call from his dad to the police saying his daughter was threatening them with a gun not long before Bamber called them, might suggest his sister did it.

And also some scratches in the paint on the mantlepiece, which the prosecution said were done in the struggle in the kitchen and which were found on the gun silencer, apparently weren't there when the original crime scene photos were taken.

I think the prosecution relied on this because it proved the silencer was used, and if it was she couldn't have committed suicide because the gun was too long with it on.

The books I've read on it didn't leave me with the impression he'd not done it, but then if that wasn't the whole story...

JaceyBee · 21/10/2010 13:58

Thanks for that mad, will have a look. Smile

frankie3 · 21/10/2010 14:22

Prince Harry looks the image of James Hewitt, althoguh Princees Di said that she met James Hewitt shortly after Harry was born. James Hewitt has now moved abroad and is living in Marbella. Is this because he has been told to go abroad to keep away from the British media??

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. - She was only pictured pregant a few times, and with an odd shaped bump, and then the baby was not photographed for a few months after the birth. is the marriage for real?

Marjee · 21/10/2010 15:23

Not sure if shes been mentioned yet but Marie Besant - did she poison all those people or was it all just unlucky coincidence?

The identity of Jack the Ripper is the greatest mystery of all time.

Marjee · 21/10/2010 15:25

Besnard not Besant, sorry! Blush
