Are there any other sites that you use on a daily basis you could recommend for me.

Am really new to boards like this. I came across this while watching tv recently - a parenting series on Discovry made reference to this site. Are there any other sites I should use. Also can anyone tell me how to bookmark a site.

Hi Clodagh, it's nice here! Umm, don't know what you have seen today but IMO this site is the best around, very freindly. By bookmarking do you mean adding to favourites? If you click on the bookmarks at the top it should have a 'add this page' icon, click on it, and then the page should appear on the drop down menu.

Tell us a bit about yourself!

This site is fab, I'm fairly new, but addicted already. What kind of sites do you want?

ZoeC · 25/08/2005 19:48

To bookmark, open favourites and click 'add' while you have the page open. There are tons of parenting sites around, I split my time between this one and mumsonline , which is smaller and friendlier I find. If you google you'll find others, but really you might find sticking with just a couple is easier as you get to know people that way.

ClodaghR · 25/08/2005 19:53

thank you. I like quizzes that sort of stuff.

fireflyfairy2 · 25/08/2005 20:25

Ah..

Not near me then

If you like sudoku there's one every day on yahoo. I think you can play online bingo too... you said you liked quizs and things....

ClodaghR · 25/08/2005 20:28

thanks fireflyfairy2 - thats quite a mouthful.

OP posts:
ZoeC · 25/08/2005 20:34

where's the online sudoku? I like that. I do a quiz that's linked from mumsonline each day - just an online quiz tournament that's quite good. If you can find the radio2 website, ken bruce does a good music quiz at 10.30 each day - I even record that off sky if I'm not in .

God I sound sad now!

Hulababy · 25/08/2005 20:35

ClodaghR · 25/08/2005 20:38

puzzledonkey is my fave, but only go there if you've got a spare couple of years.

ClodaghR · 25/08/2005 20:52

That site is very different to here.

asmallorange · 25/08/2005 21:37

fairydust · 26/08/2005 07:43

bobbybob · 26/08/2005 07:46

www.websudoku.com

SleepySuzy · 26/08/2005 07:54

I like Ciao if you join you can make money by writing reviews, doing surveys, and chat to other Ciaoers. I recommend looking here before you buy something and read the reviews.

tarantula · 26/08/2005 08:17

magicmums is an Irish mums chat website. Only been in the once but it seems quite good.

ZoeC · 26/08/2005 09:44

Agree, I've been magic mums too once or twice. So hard to keep up with lots of boards though.

ClodaghR · 26/08/2005 16:19

that puzzledonkey is good. Should I start with number one and then work my way through the others.

I subscribe to magicmum - its good for indigenous information.

steffee · 26/08/2005 16:47

I've been on number one for two years!! Stuck on the poker one PD1 3.15 I think? I'm stuck somewhere on PD2 and PD3 too, and stuck on 4.08 on PD4.

I dread to think of the wasted hours lol
