Are there any other sites that you use on a daily basis you could recommend for me.

Am really new to boards like this. I came across this while watching tv recently - a parenting series on Discovry made reference to this site. Are there any other sites I should use. Also can anyone tell me how to bookmark a site.

Have you tried the forum?

What are you stuck on?

ClodaghR · 28/08/2005 12:58

Are all the forums here open to the public. In that I mean that people that are not registered have access to all the forums. Just on that other site you metioned some of them are not accessible to members until they are a member for a while. Do you actually have to register to read the forums here or can you just see them. Does taht make sense - probably not but you might get the gist of what I am on about. I can't remember if i could see the messages before i actually registered to post.

I've read posts without being logged in here before (didn't realise till I tried checking threads I'm on), so I guess it's public. If you mean mumsonline, you can only see thread titles I think if you're not a member, not the content. And there are a couple of forums that you have to be there a while to get access, for privacy's sake.

Puzzle donkey has it's own forum - they won't give too much away but they are good, plus some members will give advice if you send them a message.

thanks ZoeC. I like the idea of private forums where all and sundry can't see your problems.
