Tea room 16 welcome to Shangri-la

Shangri-la = a hidden valley with beautiful views and crystal streams of course, and some inter-far eastern type of chalet things set around a Serene Courtyard with ever-blooming Japanese cherry trees, lots of refreshing fragrant teas, silk cushions, tinkling tiny waterfalls and bonsai trees, Gardens of Tranquillity etc.

Home to teh 16th Tea room, a haven for those with one or more or less children who like cake, tea, talking nonsense and oggling Mellors ( our handyman/ butler). If its your first vist, pull up a cushion .Mind out for the guinea pigs and other pets and do take care not to squash the teeny tiny naked mowhawk babies ( nmbs
, no longer naked and now toilet trained you will glad to hear)as they go about their duties helping Mellors.

Confused... come on, jump in and have a hot chocolate.

Heat did you say Scout? Heat? It's been raining for three days here! Bloody Ireland!

Oh, Ireland! I didn't know you were in Ireland. I haven't made it there yet!!! As for heat, I don't think it's particularly sweltering but everyone here acts like it's hotter than h here. I realize BabyScout is struggling a bit, but he's a baby!! Personally, I love this weather!

Oh ho! I'm back!! Met Small and Tea and kiddies and it was lovely! Children played together beautifully and it was so relaxed! Met up easily just sort of knew who who even without the aspidestra and fascinators!! don't want to give away Id secrets but very mellow and odd because we have never met but know each other really well!
I left them to it and have just had a tense bedtime since both oxboy and i are knackered price we pay for gadding about after bedtime!!
Pass the bolly I feel weak and emotional!!

Well, we carefully avoided the fight by not taking the cardboard cut-out of George Clooney with us!

It was very, very lovely even though I am rendered a bit doo-lally by this heat. I now feel emboldened for future tea room meet-ups!

MT- how about Tuesday, 20th. If all else fails we can go down the rec , fill the boys up with cake and drink tea, while they hurtle about on the playground.

Today was our village fair/ fete, na dbeer festival. what a good combo, all fetes should involves wandering about with a pint of something nice while watching your child bounce on a castle, ride a pony, chuck balls at coconuts etc. I even got talked into morris dancing!!!!
