If you've got two goals to complete I'd stick it out and do as they ask.

SpinningFloppa · 25/02/2023 17:38

It’s voluntary but they can escalate it to CP if they want which isn’t so you need to be careful.

Reugny · 25/02/2023 17:42

It is voluntary but as it involves issued raised by a third party with some clout, if they decide you aren't being co-operative they will escalate it to CP.

feathermucker · 25/02/2023 17:46

Why would you not complete the goals or seek help completing them? What are the goals

charlottelouise35 · 25/02/2023 18:00

I am waiting for them to give me the goals, one I remember is getting my mental health better but I am doing everything for that running , eating healthy, I dont know the last one.

It was an incident at the School that caused the Social to be involved

If the incident happened at school why are they putting you thru all this?? They must have some issue with your child's homelife

booboo82 · 25/02/2023 18:36

Agreed there's more to this

charlottelouise35 · 25/02/2023 18:37

It was a bite at school there thought it was an adult bite and I wasnt happy with it then there said i had a 45 days assessment but my mental health wasnt great back then it has improved alot since then

Just keep doing what they ask

charlottelouise35 · 25/02/2023 18:40

I should carry on with the Social Emmamoo89 until the next meeting when the goals have been met and then I decided about leaving if everything been complete and the goals

You don't decide. The social decide when to close the case.

Emmamoo89 · 25/02/2023 18:43

Just do everything they ask of you then they shouldn't be any issues. Don't dictate to them.

charlottelouise35 · 25/02/2023 18:43

So I should just keep doing what there say the Social until there decide to leave but I don't need there help anymore emmamoo89 I am doing really well

Yes. It doesn't matter if you're doing really when. You can't leave till they say otherwise. Glad you're doing better tho.

Emmamoo89 · 25/02/2023 18:45

Initially you said there were no home concerns but now you're saying you don't need their help any more. Their job is to make sure the changes you've made are sustainable.

charlottelouise35 · 25/02/2023 18:53
