Pendulum - Would you go to a concert?

If you are in your 30's? with a baby and a toddler at home?

I have been asked if I want to go, free ticket.

I am not averse to a bit of rock, in fact I am quite into it, loving Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, as a yoof I was into Metallica, NIN etc, but have mellowed in recent years. Are Pendulum anywhere the same league?

Would I have to get very drunk?

Hmmm, if bad acoustics you'll just have to get wellied.

Saw Muse a few years back (another band I find a bit soulless on record) but the sound was amazing - impossible not to get swept up in it.

Definitely go though!

they seem familiar...who do they remind me of...some band from the passed...

not sound garden, but a band from that era...

I've seen Pendulum quite a few times, and I'm the wrong side of 45 40 - they're brilliant live.

Very late and I know it has been and gone but to answer your question the answer is Damm right I would!!!

I went to gigs upto 11 days before DD1 was born Patti Smith in Liverpool and three weeks before DS2 was born (Terrorvision)

I went back to gigs when Ds 1 was 2 months old (the cult) I was in my 30's then.

By the way I went to see both Metallica and NIN last year and they were brilliant.
Check out NIN nails - well Trent Reznors new project How to destroy Angels. Free download from the website HTDA or about a iver from Amazon.

Pendulum are great and i'm I missed the gig but I was working away.
