Coo, I've just realised I've also seen REM and the Cranberries (don't think that really helps my cause though)

IMoveTheStarsForNoOne · 14/12/2009 14:09

One band I have seen that I had no wish to: Manic Street Preachers

caught them accidentally at Glastonbury one year and couldn't escape fast enough

MattBellamysMuse · 14/12/2009 14:12

The only ones on my list that I thought were rubbish is The Big Pink. Although I couldn't actally see them from where I was sitting because the stage was full of Muse's stuff (Big Pink were supporting).

wordsonascreen · 14/12/2009 16:22

Ahh now if you're counting festivals
I can add quite a lot more, sadly I was too stoned pissed to remember them

Reading Early 90's
So Glasto mid 1990s
V (chelmsford) early 2000's

I have NO idea who I saw...

Suprising how similar the lists are.. all my mates are into R and B and poppy stuff and view me with bewilderment.

MattBellamysMuse · 14/12/2009 16:43

I went to Reading twice in the early 90s (91 and 92 I think) and I can hardly remember who I saw either. It was a long time ago.

AngryFromManchester · 14/12/2009 16:47

I have not seen anyone for years as we cannot afford it anymore and the only ones I can remember are the lemonheads, garbage, the smashing pumkins and jamiroquai. I used to frequent the civic and wulfrun hall in wolverhampton a fair amount though so there must be loads more. I am getting old

AnathemaDevice · 14/12/2009 20:40

at the number of people who have been to suede gigs

Was anybody at the last ever gig?

angelene · 15/12/2009 11:29

AnathemaDevice are you one of Shampoo?!

I was also a teenage Manics obsessive, but lived too far away from anywhere to get to see them.

Then I met DH and one of his best friends is the agent for them, I got to see them for free a few times but by then they had Gone A Bit Bryan Adams

But I have met James a couple of times, he was very nice and didn't appear to notice that I was being a loon ("GuesswhatguesswhatIwasthefirstpersoninBuryStEdmundstoownGenerationTerroristsyouknow")
