I really can't decide, there are a few possibilities. Yours?

Catatonnia Glastonbury 1998 - just magical in the rain as well

Quite possibly the Holy Moly and The Crackers final rodeo gig before they went on hiatus. It was absolutely amazing. They are coming out of hiatus for a festival this summer and found a couple of gigs too so I'm seeing them again on Thursday and I can't wait!

Have sent some great ones though so hard to choose. Bellowhead are always brilliant, The Imagined Village. As a piece of theatre The Young Uns Ballad of Jonny Longstaff was very good.

Bryan Adams at York Grand Opera House. It was such an intimate acoustic gig, even my hubby who isn't a huge Bryan Adams fan says its one of the best gigs he's ever been to, which is high praise for him.

Don't like him, but was invited by a friend to see Michael Jackson. Still don't like him, but bloody hell, what a performer. Kudos there despite all else.

Same but I would have LOVED to have seen him perform at his prime.

NellyTimes · 16/08/2025 23:35

We spend most of our ‘spare’ money on gigs, musicals and theatre so we’ve seen a hell of a lot of amazing and epic performances. I’d have to say though, seeing Jeff Lynne recently, in his home town return to Birmingham, was the best. Simply because (unfortunately due to his health) he has probably played his last ever live gig. If we could have got tickets for the Sunday, we would have gone to see Ozzie on the Saturday in Birmingham but as it was we saw ELO on the Saturday of that epic Brummie weekender. RIP Ozzie and Get Well Jeff ❤️

Edited

Saw Jeff Lynne at Manchester after Birmingham. I only went because DH wanted to but I really enjoyed it. He was great. Obviously unwell by the end of it though and sad that the rest of the dates were cancelled.

Still coming down from Scouting for Girls at the weekend. Amazing

Alice Cooper at a festival 2013/2014 was pretty memorable too.

and Kaiser chiefs 2012 were great too

We love SFG, not technically the best musicians but put on a fun show. Looking forward to the roundhouse

I can't say whovmy favourite is, all have something special

Chappel Roan (and the crowd) at Reading last night were amazing

Imagine Dragons at Reading and also Tottenham due to the venue

Skinny Lister at The Thekla being on a boat was brilliant

Skade · 23/08/2025 19:44

Ah that’s a hard one!

Prince at the O2 2007
Fleetwood Mac, Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen at IOW
Tom Petty and Stevie Nicks at Hyde Park
Taylor Hawkins tribute at Wembley
A second vote for Pink, I took my niece and it was her first gig, what a night
And weirdly, Dizzee Rascal at Glastonbury! Pet Shop Boys were fantastic as well.

feellikeanalien · 23/08/2025 19:45

So many.

Genesis in Amsterdam in 2007.
Roger Waters in Lisbon in 2002.
Nils Lofgren and Tom Petty in the Glasgow Apollo (sometime in the 70s).
Eagles at Wembley in 1996.
Eric Clapton and Muddy Waters also at Glasgow Apollo in the 70s.
Summer of 84 concert at Wembley.
Phil Collins and Mike and the Mechanics in Lisbon in 2004
Simple Minds at the Hydro in Glasgow 2024

There are loads more but these are probably my stand out ones.
