Is there anyone waiting for NCO audition results for projects/main this year?

I am normally a lurker, but as the decision is nearing I want to share the wait. My dd is a cellist and probably will miss on the projects programme again, but hey, I will be happy to hear any positive news from the others and maybe we all can share tips as to how to improve for next time.

Results are out for Mains 😀

Results are out - DD got a yes for mains (violin) which will be her last year with NCO been in since 2019

Yes, we just got an email! Decision deadline is monday 😳

We are projects (only 9yo so think this is the only one we can do) and the email came through today.

I doubt it tbh. Some people have had rejections already so I think it's coming through section by section.

Congratulations to all who got the positive results! I still haven't received anything and been refreshing my inbox every 5min lol... I'm guessing if my DS is on the reserve list so if there're any offer rejection then he may be able to get a place.

happy to have got a yes for u13s but a bit miffed at the four day deadline to accept a place…

We got a no on u13 and u11 on main only. I didn't apply for projects as knew I'd turn it down and main was a long shot on v popular instruments. Good to know though so don't need to consider holding dates any more.

Ds is doing inspire this year anyway hence wouldn't have taken projects and DD can try again next year

My oboist got London Projects which is super. My only reservation is her age (just turning 12) so I hope she isn't the oldest by miles - I got the impression that generally projects was for younger kids and the national orchestra for older kids. But never mind. I'm sure it'll be fun and she will learn loads.

Why would you have turned projects down? This is the first year we have applied.
