What "well-loved" songs can't you stand?

For a bit of light relief. We're watching Christmas TOTP from 1995 and Robson & Jerome were on singing Unchained Melody. I bloody hate that song, I hate the Righteous Brothers version too, it's so wail-y (I get that's why it's unchained but I think it should be re-chained and chucked in the sea).

What classic songs make you want to chew your own ears off?

Baker Street by Gerry Rafferty and Teardrops by Womack and Womack.
And yes, that Aerosmith song. Dislike it so much I can't be arsed typing the title out.

Imagine - John Lennon. It's been spoiled by the dribbling and snivelling and oh I love this by everyone who listens to it. For me, a not very good song has just been over played.

Angels - good enough song but what's the deal with it ? I can't cope with it since hearing it being murdered on an episode of the t.v. show, 'Early Doors.'

Last Christmas - very boring song that's now been horribly overplayed.

I love A Spaceman Came Travelling! Have to agree about Angels and Early Doors - I once went to a Christmas do where there was an eerily reminiscent arm waving sing along to Angels. It was hilarious. And there was an Abba tribute band.
