Ours were always done pretty quickly tbh.
Both the performing license and mine to chaperone.
I think the longest was 2 weeks.
They should be quick as the nature of the business sometimes means not much notice is given.

It usually depends on how long the DBS takes to come through.

Good point. I already have one as I am a teacher in the same city as the council granting the license.

That might have made a difference then. I had to have a new one (despite being in the new database) as my DBS wS through another organisation.
