Welcome to the Mumsnet Musical Theatre thread.

Pull up a sequinned pouffe, get cosy with a porn star martini, kick off those character shoes, take off the wig and let out your inner Bernadette Peters.

This is a thread for lovers of musical theatre, whether watching or participating in it. Anything Goes here so to speak...

I'll kick off by saying that in the last week I saw The Book of Mormon and sob, Merrily We Roll Along. Both excellent in completely different ways.

Anyone else? Smile

Well done KatyMac's DD!

Is the studio still based in King's Cross? I used to go there many moons ago before the Eurostar landed there and all the unsavoury types got scattered. It used to be really dodgy round there but it's all gone posh now!

Just popping in to say, if you can go see Titanic at Southwark Playhouse, please do. It's a great show, great cast and sharp direction. I can highly recommend it.

I was so pleased it was good as I've been a fan of the show for many years and know the show by heart.

If you don't know the show, then do get the album as it has a great score.
