And why should I buy it?

There are loads of 'classic' albums I bet I have missed out on, since I have passed through my short phase of being 'down with the kids' between 1995 and 2005.

I have a really wide collection of music but for example, I have realised I STILL don't own Pablo Honey.

What did I forget to buy/ slipped under my radar?

TIA :)

Grin I am way too much of an old gimmer to join in this thread. I have never, ever been 'down with the kids'.

But if you twisted my arm, I'd say Indigo Girls - 4.5. Because I bloody love it, that's why.

And David Bowie - HunkyDory.
And The Jam - Setting Sons and Sound Affects.

Primal Scream Screamadelica

The Stone Roses - The Stone Roses. I bloody love this and have played it throughout my late teens/20's/30's and now early :) 40's.

Purple Rain - Prince

EnglishGirlApproximately · 15/08/2012 23:02

Another one for Screamadelica.

Cold roses - Ryan Adams
Wide awake its morning - Bright Eyes
Hot Fuss - Killers

Tangointhenight · 15/08/2012 23:04

Mine is Tango in the Night :o

I'm young(ish) and I can't be doing with all this modern rubbish.

My favourite album is Against Perfection by Adorable. It's one of the few albums where I don't skip tracks or feel compelled to mess with the track order.

fan I used to love that album but haven't heard it for years. I had it stolen in a break in and never got round to replacing it. Wonder if it's still available? Off to google it!

I shall have a good poke round last fm and a splurge on iTunes!

I am doing quite well, have talking heads, blondie, the jam, nick drake, Bowie and joy division already.

On the threshold of a dream - The Moody Blues.

Might be a little too quirky. Not everyone's cup of tea.

Handsfulloffun · 16/08/2012 12:37

The Flaming lips - Yoshimi battles the pink robots is another great album.

Elephantscantdothemoonwalk · 16/08/2012 14:03

Coldplay myloxyto is good.
Paul carrak anything by him is good. His new one is the best.
I have odd tastes.

lrace · 24/08/2012 20:40

Nas' Illmatic is unbelievable in terms of flow, lyricism, legacy.
