Here at MNHQ we're interested in finding out more about what our users think about the upcoming EU referendum. On the 23rd June 2016, there will be a referendum to decide whether the UK should remain a member of the European Union, or whether we should leave it.

This survey is open to all Mners who are eligible to vote in UK general elections. Everyone who completes the survey will be put into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £100 Amazon voucher.

Here's the link again - www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/2HKZTG2

Thanks
MNHQ

Very odd poll mumsnet.

I'm very worried about the referendum, it's going the way of the Scottish one - loads of opinion but no actual information on what will happen afterwards. I fear for the future of our children

On the subject of tv personalities, I'm with David Mitchell, who wrote today:

Nobody absolutely knows whether Britain will be better off inside or outside the EU. Everyone’s guessing based on instinct, experiences on holiday, previous voting patterns and who’s on which side. The liars are those who claim to be certain. We all have to take a punt, based on how we feel.

Thought-provoking just when I thought I knew it all.

Hope the right thing happens in the end.

beeelaine · 29/02/2016 00:14

done! don't trust anyone on that list on the survey - make your own mind up people, you have a brain! There will be a lot of talking (and remember as they talk they are not actually doing anything other than talking)!!! and dont get me started on Trump... i actually think the world is going mad!

ThisCakeFilledIsle · 29/02/2016 00:25

I'd like to hear Bez's point of view on the EU!

ProfessorPreciseaBug · 29/02/2016 08:21

Where are the results?

Or are we being kept in the dark on purpose?

JoCar72 · 29/02/2016 11:34

Reading through the questions, I think I've learnt that I really don't trust anyone anymore ;(

julieef · 29/02/2016 12:52

Hi,I'm voting leave,
Yes Leave because with quite a bit of info garnered and a partner who is in the Economist area I can see our trade would open new mutually advantageous horizons with Asia and India, desperately poor nations that need the custom.
Priti Patel has a view on this plus Dan Hannan MEP, you can google them, they are in no doubt we would flourish.

At present we are held back in the EU as the guys in Brussels have the say so on negotiation, which takes forever, red tape and all.

Out of the EU we would negotiate our own trade but still trade with the EU.
Plus we would save the many many £millions per day £55 million but we do get a rebate I know but it's way too much.

Think what could be done with that money here in the Uk:schools, hospitals, roads, training and maternity pay to name a few.

So it's a Leave for me.

Daisyonthegreen · 01/03/2016 13:47

I have researched so much and I am convinced we should Leave

AnnMumsnet · 01/03/2016 13:53

Thanks for all the comments and completed surveys Olinguito wins the £100 Amazon voucher!

Well I'm for leave,my partner is an Economist and we are convinced we would flourish negotiating our own trade deals which is not allowed under EU rules.
We would still trade with the EU but be free to broker our own deals with the very important markets of Asia and India, this would bring more wealth and from that flows money for schools, hospitals, cancer care roads and maternity pay
We would save £55 million a day membership fee to be spent here in the UK.
It would be a win win.

BrittEkland · 04/03/2016 15:10

I agree with Daisy. When setting up new trade deal with EU we must not do what Norway did and that is agree to free movements of all peoples. They were pressured into it, and they are a heavily socialist country anyway, but look at the bespoiling of that once beautiful country.

TinySombrero · 10/03/2016 18:06

Survey results on Mumsnet but I don't see the actual result iyswim!

TinySombrero · 10/03/2016 19:09

NameRanger · 11/03/2016 22:18
