Here at MNHQ, it's census time again! Smile

It's essential for us to build a profile of the folks who use Mumsnet, to help us attract the most appropriate advertisers and sponsors as well as find out how folks feel about the site.

So we would very much like everyone (this means ALL Mumsnetters! Newbies, oldies, in-betweeners, lurkers, regulars, overseas MNers, even men Smile) to complete our census. This is our fourth census survey - we've taken to running them every two years and would like as many of you as possible to complete it.

As a special thank you we have lined up some lovely prizes - everyone who takes part in the survey and who adds their details at the end will be entered into a prize draw where you could win one the following:

~ Family ticket to sportsFest worth £800 - PRIZE DRAW NOW DONE
~ A YouView box worth £299
~ A Mothercare/ ELC £150 voucher
~ George Foreman grill worth £89.99
~ A Dyson DC34 worth £179.99
~ One of two National Trust family admission pass worth £32
~ One of three £50 Dermasalve hampers from Skin Salveation
~ A bumper pack of the new 330ml sparklers from Cawston Press worth £54
or even a stack of books from the towers shelves (worth £100ish)

Grin

For more details and T&Cs please click here

Please note as we're so very nosey about you there are about 50 (fascinating) questions but we'd very grateful for each and every response.

Here's the link: www.surveymonkey.com/s/MNCensus2013

All responses are confidential and no individual details will be passed on to any third parties.

Thanks (and good luck).

yegodsandlittlefishes · 27/06/2013 23:32

Swerving · 27/06/2013 23:36

Done. My first survey.

Fingers crossed now.

Wonderstuff · 28/06/2013 00:22

Done. I never know where to put myself on the social category thing. I'm a middle management teacher, should I be in the second category or the top?

DeepRedBetty · 28/06/2013 09:13

You know it asked if I'd ever clicked on any ads? Well, yes, but only by accident.

Also I may be a member of FB and Twitter, but I hardly ever use either except to advertise our business, and I don't 'do' Like/Recommend for anything, even you lovely lovely people.

mrsdinklage · 28/06/2013 09:58

Done - then I thought of an improvement. So I'll put it here instead - why can't the Add your message only come at the end of the thread instead at the end of each page then I wouldn't look so stupid by saying something that has already been said ten times Blush

Isitme1 · 28/06/2013 10:30

Donewould love the mother care voucher. Baby no.2 due any day and would come in very handy
:)
Ps well done

Portofino · 28/06/2013 12:00

The Non UK thing is a bit skewed. I don't shop in UK but DO read Newspapers and vote - though was asked to skip those sections but not the shops and magazine part.

AnnMumsnet · 28/06/2013 12:51

portofino - sorry - I guess most folks not in UK can't vote here and we didn't want to annoy them....best just to answer all questions if you can/ want to Wink as applicable.

mrsdinklage - are you on a pc/ laptop? if so you can click 'add message' on the line by each poster
eg your post says
mrsdinklage Fri 28-Jun-13 09:58:26 Add message | Report | Message poster | Quote

OP posts:
mrsdinklage · 28/06/2013 14:05

yep - the problem is - add message appears at the bottom of each page - if it was just at the end of the thread I wouldn't post before reading the whole of the thread Blush

BoreOfWhabylon · 28/06/2013 15:27

Done. Am terminally boring.

AmandaPandtheTantrumofDoom · 28/06/2013 15:28

Oooh MNHQ. I'm only on question 6 and I'm stuck. Can we have a box for 'no I'm not pregnant but we can't seem to decide whether to TTC again and have been debating it for months'. Based on the number of threads I've seen on this topic, I think you'd have quite a high response rate Grin

AnnMumsnet · 28/06/2013 16:24

Mrsdlinkage - are you on a pc/laptop or a phone? If you're on a computer, you can change your settings to show the whole thread as a single page. Stops you not at least scrolling past everything, and if you highlight the OP (I like a fetching shade of green) you can see at a glance every time they've updated.

stickchildren3 · 28/06/2013 16:41
