We've been asked by the British Lung Foundation to find out about your views and experience of smoking.

It doesn't matter if you have never smoked, smoke now or have smoked in the past, the survey is open to all parents in the UK. This follows on from a previous survey in April.

All data is confidential. The British Lung Foundation does not want to make anyone feel guilty about smoking.

Everyone who completes the survey and adds their details at the end will be entered into a prize draw to win a £250 voucher for Cath Kidston.

Thanks and good luck

Done!

susitwoshoes · 18/08/2010 21:14

done, and as someone who had bloody parents smoking in the car throughout their childhood, despite protests from the back seat, I hope this gets through!

devotion · 19/08/2010 22:47

done, makes me sick when i see selfish parents smoking their guts out with children in the car.

Chunkamatic · 20/08/2010 09:11

Done. Coincidentally the other day I saw a car full of 4 adults all smoking with 2 children (one of whom was travelling on an adults lap) in the back and only one of the windows slightly cracked open. I felt so sorry for the poor kids - it must have been so smoky in there. It did make me wonder why smoking in cars with kids isn't banned - I hadn't heard of this campaign until just now.

Done. My parents smoked when I was younger, so I hope it gets through.
IMO smoking should be banned full stop but the govt will NEVER do that, and loose the extra money

Done. Fingers crossed!

I'd like to see the return of smoking in pubs & /or cafes - but these ones would be licensed, adult-only, & the ONLY places where tobacco products were either available or legal to use.

Lyds3 · 21/08/2010 12:48

Done

Flighttattendant · 21/08/2010 12:54

I agree with Rafi.

I think smoking ought to be banned everywhere apart from in special pubs or bars where you could buy tobacco.

I don't think anyone should be allowed to smoke in the street, or in gardens (we are surrounded by garden smokers - it's hideous and very unfair as we can't use the garden when we want to)

But it's silly to ban it in all pubs - some people still want to smoke, so let them all kill themselves and each other somewhere exclusive.

Flighttattendant · 21/08/2010 12:55

Though I think if they all had to do it together they would realise how bloody stupid they were being and not want to go to these places.
