We’re looking for 30 Mumsnet users with a child between 6 months and 4 years to test the Tripp Trapp™ chair - the original ‘Chair for Life’, designed so it will evolve with your child from birth through to adulthood.

Already have the Tripp Trapp™ chair? We'd like to hear your feedback - click here to complete a short survey and be entered into a prize draw for a £100 voucher.

Here’s what Stokke has to say: “For over 40 years, millions of children around the world have enjoyed their meals and grown up using the iconic Tripp Trapp® chair. Today, as then, the intelligent, adjustable design allows freedom of movement with both depth and height adjustable seat and footplates. When adjusted correctly, your child is ensured a comfortable and ergonomic seating position at any age. It is designed to fit right up to your dining table allowing your child to learn and develop alongside you.”

Selected testers will receive the Tripp Trapp™ in beech, in their choice of colour* (and with engraving if desired). Testers with a child aged under 3 will also receive the Tripp Trapp™ Baby Set, to turn the chair into a high chair. If you’re selected, you’ll need to test the chair with your child over a 2-3 week period and then give your feedback on a thread as well as completing a short survey. All selected testers who give their feedback will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £100 voucher for the store of their choice (from a list).

If you’re interested in taking part, please sign up here.

Thanks and good luck!

Would love to try this beautiful chair out with my baby. Fingers crossed.

Fullofbeans264 · 02/07/2020 16:45

This looks so lovely and calming that it might make my dining room magically tidy and lovely again after the mess of toys and craft stuff that's descended during lockdown!! At the very least, I'm sure it'll make for a very happy two year old and hopefully some lovely family mealtimes....

WishMyNameWasWittyNotShitty · 02/07/2020 16:57

Fingers crossed!

I love the style of these chairs and the length of time they can be used for!

GinAndTonicNeeded · 02/07/2020 17:03

Fab product. We have 3, still used every meal time by our 9 yo and 7 yo twins.

I can't recommend them enough.

We had Ikea ones as well, for family and in our holiday house, which served a purpose, but these are still going strong and I can see another 5 years use in them.

MummyFriend · 02/07/2020 17:12

We would really love to test this. We have a baby who will soon be weaning, a four year old boy and a six (going on 16) year old girl so we'd certainly have the opportunity to put it through its paces!

Bergmum · 02/07/2020 18:35

Recently started weaning. Looks like a great chair but it's always been put of my budget.

milney25 · 02/07/2020 20:04

This looks fabulous and have seen it on social media posts by influencers. So many beautiful colours!

AriettyHomily · 02/07/2020 21:45

Dts are 9 and still use theirs daily, I also use one for working at home. They really are great chairs.

Bowerbird5 · 03/07/2020 01:41

This is a great product. We had four in one of the nurseries I worked in. Great for feeding in the baby and toddler room.

NudgeUnit · 03/07/2020 01:53

All of mine had Tripp Trapps. We freecycled them afterwards as we didn't have space to keep them all indefinitely but I kind of wish we hadn't now. It's a lovely product test for those who are chosen. They are fab chairs.

Bromeliad · 03/07/2020 07:10

Signed up! That's an exciting test.

glastogal · 03/07/2020 11:57

This would be so perfect for my toddler who refuses to sit in his high chair and more but is too little for the big chairs!! Currently using a booster cushion but I'm not convinced it's quite right!!

Itsmemaggie · 03/07/2020 12:10

Signed up 🤞🏻 Would love to try this for my wee one.

TeaAndCake · 09/07/2020 16:59

We have 3 here and all in daily use at the kitchen table.
DC 1&2 have theirs set up as adult chairs now and DC3's is set up for her to sit comfortably at the table.

Well worth the investment although I have just looked up the current prices and boy are they expensive now!

DC1 is 13 now and his Tripp Trapp cost £100, the baby set £20 and a cushion £20. I thought that was pretty extravagant back then!

Anyhow, a good investment as they are all still in daily use and I hope they will for some years to come! They are a beautiful design and clever in their adaptability.

We love ours!

ArchbishopOfBanterbury · 09/07/2020 22:25

Would love to try!

mommathatwearspink · 09/07/2020 22:30

Done! Would love to try one for my 3 year old who is too big for a high chair but still needs something more than just a dining chair

I’ve been wondering how best to seat my DS at the table as he won’t have that much longer in his trusty Mumsnet favourite Ikea high chair as he’s 2 in August. I’ve been looking out for one of these second hand locally but no such look sadly. It’d be great if we could test this one out for you instead! Will keep my fingers and toes crossed!

Clementine8 · 10/07/2020 00:09

I’m just about to start weaning my little one and reading the reviews this would be the perfect chair to use for her.
