We’re looking for 30 Mumsnet users with a child between 6 months and 4 years to test the Tripp Trapp™ chair - the original ‘Chair for Life’, designed so it will evolve with your child from birth through to adulthood.

Already have the Tripp Trapp™ chair? We'd like to hear your feedback - click here to complete a short survey and be entered into a prize draw for a £100 voucher.

Here’s what Stokke has to say: “For over 40 years, millions of children around the world have enjoyed their meals and grown up using the iconic Tripp Trapp® chair. Today, as then, the intelligent, adjustable design allows freedom of movement with both depth and height adjustable seat and footplates. When adjusted correctly, your child is ensured a comfortable and ergonomic seating position at any age. It is designed to fit right up to your dining table allowing your child to learn and develop alongside you.”

Selected testers will receive the Tripp Trapp™ in beech, in their choice of colour* (and with engraving if desired). Testers with a child aged under 3 will also receive the Tripp Trapp™ Baby Set, to turn the chair into a high chair. If you’re selected, you’ll need to test the chair with your child over a 2-3 week period and then give your feedback on a thread as well as completing a short survey. All selected testers who give their feedback will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £100 voucher for the store of their choice (from a list).

If you’re interested in taking part, please sign up here.

Thanks and good luck!

Fingers crossed here. We don't have a kitchen at the moment as we are having an extension built and I am currently feeding my 8 month old in a bumbo on the floor which is not much fun.

There are so many lovely colours. I used to sell Tripp Trapp chairs many years ago and always thought that they were fab.

starlingsintheslipstream Ditto! Dd is 18 and dh has just bought the adult cushion for her old chair as he's been using it to work from home. They have great longevity.

Where do you get the adult cushion? Never heard of this. DD is 16 and still uses hers at the dining table and would love a cushion. It's a brilliant chair and one of our best baby buys - I'm never getting rid as will use for grandkids later 😀

It is ££££ and only came in grey sadly but arrived in a coupe of days. Dh can claim the money back from work as they are offering £200 for staff to get equipment for home working so he justified it like that. There's also patterns on Pinterest so I was toying with the idea of making one but the work grant swung it.

3 weeks is an odd test for a 'lifetime' chair - a lot of the benefit is the way it adjusts with the child's growth and the wood being hard enough to take a lot of stick - showing very little wear etc
DD had one between ~2 and 8yrs old - excellent product - harness for small child was fiddly though and in practice we didn't use it - chair adjustment precluded her slipping down under the table thing
They hold their value too - sold on ebay for decent price given it was 5yrs old!

Thank you starlings. Mmm yes quite pricey and shame it's only in grey as that is not our colour scheme at all. I loved the Stripey baby pad and backing that we got originally but it got so threadbare with frequent washing.
One thing I hadn't realised was that the foot rest becomes the seat when the child gets older so DH and I have just changed it and we'll see when DD realises. There's still a handy foot bar for feet resting. I love sitting on it but found the seat was quite small for my bum so now we've changed it it's perfect 😀

Just to say we are fans of Stokke and have brought into their baby and toddler furniture ecosystem! We love and currently use the Sleepi crib to full extended junior bed and also the Tripp Trapp highchair all in matching dark walnut wood. Not sure the junior bed will last until age ten as already finding it a little on the small side for a six year old who likes to move and spread when sleeping. I appreciate the flexibility to extend and grow for both products but wished there was a further extension to the junior bed so that it will indeed be suitable for a child age ten of regular height and weight as per marketing. Might have to contemplate asking a carpenter to design something suitable although it must be said several friends and family have already expressed willingness to relieve us of said furniture when no longer suitable! Great solid Norwegian company with classic well constructed products and well liked by those a little more discerning than the Swedish Ikea tribe! Tripp Trapp highchair is good solid choice but unlike the Uber cool on trend Sleepi crib/cot/bed not the most stylish but functional product for some tastes.

Also entered. My daughter is nearly 4 but very petite and I know she'd be fighting our 1 year-old to use it! Perhaps if I got chosen I'd have to invest in a 2nd one to avoid meltdowns... Wine

@JustineBMumsnet
Am I allowed to take part? We look after our dgc when my DCs and DIL are at work and something like this would be amazing and would mean we don't have to keep transporting a highchair between our houses.
