Which flavour of Nice by Nature ice lollies did you choose to test?
I was asked to test mango and banana.
Would you be interested in trying any of the other flavours?
I would happily have tried the strawberry and raspberry, but having hated the mango and banana probably wouldn't now.
Overall, how satisfied were you and your family with the Nice by Nature ice lollies?
Four of us tried them. I hated them, my partner and older child thought they were 'OK' but weren't interested in having another (which is pretty out of character), my younger child liked them.
What did you/your child like or dislike about Nice By Nature ice lollies?
I hated the strong apple flavour, which is about all I could taste, tbh, and everyone felt they were very dense and fibrous. My partner disliked the texture, and he really is the least fussy eater in the world, so that says a lot. The kids hated the packaging - eco-friendly cardboard on the outside and plastic on the inside - which they thought was faky and hypocritical. They also thought the Brian Banana and Mary Mango cut-out cards on the back ('six to collect!' - 'for educational purposes!') were really naff. We were all a bit shocked at how small they were. We also thought the greeny-brown colour was a bit unappetising. There are 6 in the packet and the last two are still in the freezer, which is a rare and very negative distinction in our house.
Do you think Nice by Nature ice lollies would appeal more to younger (3-6) or older (7-12) children? Why?
The packaging is more appealing to younger children and the teeny size more appropriate to them too.
Would you recommend Nice by Nature ice lollies to your friends or family?
No, sorry. We eat healthily and like our fruit and veg. I make my own juices and have been known to make ice cream and lollies in the past, but these were a horrible disappointment. I'd recommend the Del Monte range instead.
