Which flavour of Nice by Nature ice lollies did you choose to test?

Apple and black current

  • Would you be interested in trying any of the other flavours?

Yes I’ve bought the strawberry and banana ones since

  • Overall, how satisfied were you and your family with the Nice by Nature ice lollies?

Very satisfied

  • What did you/your child like or dislike about Nice By Nature ice lollies?

My Little boy is 2 so I didn’t get much of an opinion from him Grin but he said they were yum and kept going to the freezer to help himself to one! So i would guess he liked the taste which is the most important thing.

The packaging was bright and colourful and giving him fruit instead of just sugar made me feel that we were making a better choice.

  • Do you think Nice by Nature ice lollies would appeal more to younger (3-6) or older (7-12) children? Why?

I don’t have any older children so I’m not sure but they definitely appealed to my young child. An older child would know they’re made of fruit so if they have a fruit aversion you wouldn’t get away with fooling them.

  • Would you recommend Nice by Nature ice lollies to your friends or family

Absolutely!

  • Which flavour of Nice by Nature ice lollies did you choose to test?
We choose to test Nice by nature Strawberry and Raspberry lollies.
  • Would you be interested in trying any of the other flavours?
yes and we already tried Mango & Banana and Apple and Blackcurrant lollies, thera ere on offer for 2 £ at the moment which is better deal than full price.
  • Overall, how satisfied were you and your family with the Nice by Nature ice lollies?
Overall we were satisfied as lollies were nice and tasted refreshing! Good timing too as weather was so summery hot and sunny. I like that lollies are made fom fruit purees without added sugar. Each lollie contains 3.9 g of sugar and per 100 g it is only 9.2.g of sugar, our dentist would happy with this lollie choice.
  • What did you/your child like or dislike about Nice By Nature ice lollies?
Kids liked taste,my 10 year old commented that lollies are not too yucky, not too sweet good balance of sweetness and taste is nice too.
  • Do you think Nice by Nature ice lollies would appeal more to younger (3-6) or older (7-12) children? Why?
It is great to have healthier alternatives at any age and depends from kids.Of course there are more chances that younger kids will love these lollies more as generaly food for toddlers contains less sugar and taste buds are not soo spoiled like olders kids ones.My boys are 5 and 10 and they both liked lollies and we already purchase more flavours to try.
  • Would you recommend Nice by Nature ice lollies to your friends or family?
I would reccomend these lollies to friends and family, as they taste nice, contains only natural sugar and sounds as perfect treat for summer. However thing which dissapoints that lollies are made from fruit purees without gluten or milk but wouldn't be suitable for kids with allergies .'May contain :cereals containing gluten, nuts, soy, peanuts and milk' Parents who have kids with allergies would never buy that type of lollies as risk of cross-contamination is there with all major allergens. These ice lollies would be more popular if they would be created in safe enviroment without cross contamination because more people would choose to buy lollie which contains no nasties,no major allergens just pure fruit purees.

Do you think Nice by Nature ice lollies would appeal more to younger (3-6) or older (7-12) children? Why?

Would you recommend Nice by Nature ice lollies to your friends or family?

-Which flavour of Nice by Nature ice lollies did you choose to test?
Mango and Banana

  • Would you be interested in trying any of the other flavours?
I would like to try them all
  • Overall, how satisfied were you and your family with the Nice by Nature ice lollies?
My partner doesn't eat any fruit or anything fruity.....funny enough he loved these!! Myself and my 3 boys also tried them and they were a huge hit for us all
  • What did you/your child like or dislike about Nice By Nature ice lollies?
Personally I loved that they were almost like a fruit smooth when they started to melt in your mouth, the boys said the flavour was nice and they liked it, and my other half said he enjoyed the texture and flavour and it wasn't too 'fruity'
  • Do you think Nice by Nature ice lollies would appeal more to younger (3-6) or older (7-12) children? Why?
I think they appeal to anyone! Not just children, my sons are 6, 4 and 2, each loved them and I found them really enjoyable in texture and flavour, and the fact they are so low in calories made me hugely happy!
  • Would you recommend Nice by Nature ice lollies to your friends or family?
YES I WOULD 100%
WilmaJean · 26/07/2019 13:20
  • Which flavour of Nice by Nature ice lollies did you choose to test? Apple & Blackcurrant
  • Would you be interested in trying any of the other flavours? Yes, I’m hoping the other flavours don’t stain as badly!
  • Overall, how satisfied were you and your family with the Nice by Nature ice lollies? These were tried by four 21 month olds. All the children liked them, the parents weren’t keen on how draining they were! Definitely one to be eaten outside with no clothes on to stain!
  • What did you/your child like or dislike about Nice By Nature ice lollies? I liked that they were 100% fruit. The children liked the taste.
  • Do you think Nice by Nature ice lollies would appeal more to younger (3-6) or older (7-12) children? Why? Younger. These aren’t very sweet (because they are 100% fruit with no added sugar) so older taste buds might find them a bit bland.
  • Would you recommend Nice by Nature ice lollies to your friends or family? I would definitely warn them about the mess/staining. I like the idea of the lollies but all the mums said they wouldn’t buy them because of how messy they were.
firsttimekat · 26/07/2019 13:24

We tried the mango and banana flavour. We'd have happily tried the other flavours as well.

DS was really taken with them and so no one else got to try them! As we opened the packet we got "mmmmm mango" so I'm pretty sure they tasted good as I had told him what the flavour was. When asked what he thought he said "yummy yummy yummy" so I think they passed the test.

As parents we liked that they are 100% fruit and lower sugar than alternatives. And that they look like 'real' ice lollies so no one thinks they are missing out.

DS is in the younger age bracket and I can see older children might want to pick something else. But as parents would be happy to continue buying for older children.

I would recommend and I would buy again if they were on offer.

  • Which flavour of Nice by Nature ice lollies did you choose to test? Apple and Blackcurrant
  • Would you be interested in trying any of the other flavours? No
  • Overall, how satisfied were you and your family with the Nice by Nature ice lollies? I and 1 child didn't really like them, but the other child didn't mind
  • What did you/your child like or dislike about Nice By Nature ice lollies? No flavor, to begin with, then it was quite strong after a few licks. The flavor wasn't a nice one. One child thought they tasted like smoothies so didn't mind the taste.
  • Do you think Nice by Nature ice lollies would appeal more to younger (3-6) or older (7-12) children? Why? Based on my 2 children I would say the older age range.
  • Would you recommend Nice by Nature ice lollies to your friends or family? No, as we didn't really like them, and you can but cheaper alternatives. I DO like the fact they are low in calories and 100% fruit though, just wish the taste was nicer.
Cotswoldmama · 26/07/2019 13:55

We tried the Raspberry and Strawberry

Would we be interested in trying other flavours?

Yes, banana and mango sound amazing. My eldest is usually a bit funny about strawberry flavour but liked them.

How satisfied were we?

Very satisfied the fact that they melt really slowly was great. We ate them walking home for the shop in hot weather without getting sticky! I’m also happily surprised that both my boys ate them even though they’re really not sweet! The only fruit my eldest will eat is apples!

What did my child like/dislike?

They both thought they were very yummy but would have like the pack to have different flavours in it.

Do they appeal to younger ages 3-6 or older 7-12?

My boys are 3 and 6 and loved them I think the older the kid the more they might realise they’re healthy and therefore refuse to eat them! So I would say younger kids.

Would I recommend to family and friends?

Definitely

Joysutty · 26/07/2019 15:46

I liked the packaging of the box on the ones i was asked to test which were the Mango and Banana flavoured ones. And yes i would be willing to test out the other flavours in this range of Nice By Nature. At first looking after taking off the plastic film wrapper i wasn't impressed by the colour of the actual lollies as they looked a bit darker yellow like mustard coloured but they tasted absolutely wonderful and with this heat we had them over a few days and they were very freshing. I would definatley recommend to my friends and others with children as well as natural ingredients/flavours. Being diabetic myself with having no sugar in, then i will definitely buy again myself.

Anj123 · 26/07/2019 16:43

Which flavour of Nice by Nature ice lollies did you choose to test?
Strawberry and raspberry. I was asked to try apple and blackcurrant, but went to 2 different branches of Tesco and this was the only flavour I could get.

  • Would you be interested in trying any of the other flavours?
Yes
  • Overall, how satisfied were you and your family with the Nice by Nature ice lollies?
Daughter and I liked them, hubby not as much
  • What did you/your child like or dislike about Nice By Nature ice lollies?
I like the natural flavour and that they didn’t drip everywhere. Hubby didn’t think they were sweet enough but I think his tastebuds are impaired!!
  • Do you think Nice by Nature ice lollies would appeal more to younger (3-6) or older (7-12) children? Why?
I think both age groups would like them. What’s not to like?!
  • Would you recommend Nice by Nature ice lollies to your friends or family?
Yes

Thanks for letting us run them.

Its2oclockinthemorning · 26/07/2019 17:20

Mango and banana

  • Would you be interested in trying any of the other flavours?

Yes all sound nice

  • Overall, how satisfied were you and your family with the Nice by Nature ice lollies?

Very good. Kids enjoyed them as did I

  • What did you/your child like or dislike about Nice By Nature ice lollies?

I liked that they were only 24 kcal per lolly, so a healthy option on a hot day. Kids loved the flavour as did I. A guilt free option. I liked their show also.

  • Do you think Nice by Nature ice lollies would appeal more to younger (3-6) or older (7-12) children? Why?

Mine are in the younger age bracket but I don’t see why that aged child would like them any less than an older child.

  • Would you recommend Nice by Nature ice lollies to your friends or family?

For sure if they were in the right price bracket, 1 to 2 pounds

  • Which flavour of Nice by Nature ice lollies did you choose to test?
Strawberry and raspberry
  • Would you be interested in trying any of the other flavours?
Yes all sound lovely
  • Overall, how satisfied were you and your family with the Nice by Nature ice lollies?
Both me and my child loved the lollies so I would say very satisfied.
  • What did you/your child like or dislike about Nice By Nature ice lollies?
My child says he liked the flavour and didn't dislike anything. I liked that they were purely made from fruit with no nasty ingredients or sugar added, and they are a healthy and low calorie treat for all the family to enjoy. And the slower melting time really was true!
  • Do you think Nice by Nature ice lollies would appeal more to younger (3-6) or older (7-12) children? Why?
I think they look like they're marketed towards younger children, but I think any children and adults alike would equally enjoy them.
  • Would you recommend Nice by Nature ice lollies to your friends or family?
Yes definitely, we think they are great. The only downside would be us that they are relatively expensive compared to the rest of the market. In saying that, you don't get many other lollies made of purely fruit juice.

Thank you very much for letting us take part in the campaign, we really enjoyed being part of it and it came at the right time in the hot weather!

Here is a picture of my little boy enjoying his lolly!

ButterflyOfFreedom · 26/07/2019 18:46

Which flavour of Nice by Nature ice lollies did you choose to test?
Strawberry & Raspberry.

Would you be interested in trying any of the other flavours?
Yes definitely.

Overall, how satisfied were you and your family with the Nice by Nature ice lollies?
Satisfied. We weren't blown away by them but all 6 have been eaten with no complaints. They were quite tasty & refreshing in this hot weather.

What did you/your child like or not like?
Both DC liked them. My DD is a slow eater the fact that they didn't melt too quickly was a bonus! The flavour seemed nice & the packaging was appealing. Totally missed any collectable cards that have mentioned?!

Do you think Nice by Nature ice lollies would appeal more to younger or older children?
Probably more the younger age group. The packaging seems to be more aimed at young ones. They are quite small too suitable for little hands!

Would you recommend Nice by Nature ice lollies to your friends or family?

Yes, probably. Seems a healthier alternative to a lot of ice lollies.

JeanieJardine55 · 26/07/2019 18:48

Which flavour of Nice by Nature ice lollies did you choose to test?
We tried the Strawberry and Raspberry ones.

Would you be interested in trying any of the other flavours?
Yes, we would try the other flavours but would only buy them on special offer as they are not cheap.

Overall, how satisfied were you and your family with the Nice by Nature ice lollies?
They were quite refreshing but very small. The flavour was very mild and, although the lollies looked like smoothie lollies, they were quite hard and difficult to bite. I would have preferred a stronger flavour.

What did you/your child like or dislike about Nice By Nature ice lollies
We all thought they were quite refreshing but definitely lacked something.

Do you think Nice by Nature ice lollies would appeal more to younger (3-6) or older (7-12) children? Why?
I think the bland taste would appeal more to younger children.

Would you recommend Nice by Nature ice lollies to your friends or family
Generally not although, being low in carbohydrate, they would be suitable for my diabetic Grandson.

helloswellow · 26/07/2019 18:58
  • Which flavour of Nice by Nature ice lollies did you choose to test?

Banana and Mango

  • Would you be interested in trying any of the other flavours?

Yes, the other flavours sound like much more classic flavours for frozen treats.

  • Overall, how satisfied were you and your family with the Nice by Nature ice lollies?

It was a bit hit and miss in our house. I was thought they were okay, DP hated them and DS loved them.

  • What did you/your child like or dislike about Nice By Nature ice lollies?

DS definitely liked the taste and the refreshing nature of the ice lolly. I liked that they were all natural so no nasties and that they were low calorie.

The flavour of the banana was a bit weird, its not something you usually find in ice lollies so did make tasting them originally a bit strange. The colour was also a bit off putting.

  • Do you think Nice by Nature ice lollies would appeal more to younger (3-6) or older (7-12) children? Why?

I think they would appeal to younger and older children equally because who doesn't love a nice cold ice lolly in hot weather. The flavours are very kid friendly in general, however older kids might prefer an ice cream?

  • Would you recommend Nice by Nature ice lollies to your friends or family?

I'd recommend them but not in the flavour I tested. Based on the low calorie count and healthy ingredients, it can be recommended for adults and children across the board.

Florence08 · 26/07/2019 20:04

Strawberry & raspberry.
Yes to other flavours.
Quite satisfied: I liked them more than she did but we both found them a bit banana-y! Wondered if the other flavours have banana in?
Bit expensive but healthy and more like homemade than other bought lollies.
I think they would appeal to any age child who likes berry and banana flavours.
I would recommend them as a healthy lolly but I think I would find it comparatively more economical to freeze smoothies than buy these. Lovely to try though!

Both myself and the children really enjoyed the lollies. The packaging was nice, they tasted good and the whole family could enjoy them

We all liked the fruit flavour. The texture was different to a ice lolly the children didnt seem to mind but my partner was not keen.

My children are 2, 5,10 and 11 and they appealed equally to all the children.

  • Which flavour of Nice by Nature ice lollies did you choose to test?

A - Strawberry and Raspberry

  • Would you be interested in trying any of the other flavours?

A- Probably

  • Overall, how satisfied were you and your family with the Nice by Nature ice lollies?

A- I was very but the others not so much - yet!

  • What did you/your child like or dislike about Nice By Nature ice lollies?

A- it was a bit 'dry' to begin with, and the shape kinda reminded me of a tongue, but after the end of the first I was starting to really like them, at the end of the second I was really starting to think I need to start buying these! As they are refreshing and healthy.

  • Do you think Nice by Nature ice lollies would appeal more to younger (3-6) or older (7-12) children? Why?

A- Not really sure, I think if they get used to them then any age

  • Would you recommend Nice by Nature ice lollies to your friends or family?

A- Definitely as they have no added sugar and you can tell this BUT after a few they really start to get more-ish, and as I know they are low in calories I am happy to eat one whenever I feel like it, whenever it's hot. Also I noticed after I got used to them they felt kind of creamy against my tongue. Really nice.

Overall - if you are used to normal icecream/pops they do take a couple to get used to but are very nice. I usually avoid icecream/lollies as they tend to be very overly sweet but these are actually wonderful!
