  1. What were your first impressions of the moisturizer? How did you find the texture/feel? Did you notice any difference in the appearance or feel of your skin when you first started using the moisturizer?

I thought it had a nice glossy fresh look, and felt creamy but light. TBH when I started using the moisturiser it didn't seem all that different to my normal moisturiser: it was nice and did the job, but nothing special.

  1. Now that you've hopefully had chance to use the moisturizer a lot, what do you think of it now? What's the best thing about it? Is there anything that you don't like about it?

I really like it. Now I've been using it just over a week, I think it has made my skin look smoother and closed up some of the open pores.

  1. Do you prefer this moisturizer to the one you were using before (if you were using one) or not? Do you think you'll continue using it on a regular basis or not? Why?

Yes I do, but I wouldn't normally spend that much on a moisturiser (not since losing my job anyway Wink), so although it is better than a moisturiser that costs less, I couldn't really justify buying it on a regular basis. I'll see how long it lasts and whether it's better value that way.

  1. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Clinique's Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would if someone wanted a moisturiser that improved the look of their skin, and also would if someone had slightly sensitive skin.

stickyLFDTfingers · 14/11/2011 16:48

ooh, the first one! I think I should be bunged a sly £50 just for that :)

  1. What were your first impressions of the moisturizer? How did you find the texture/feel? Did you notice any difference in the appearance or feel of your skin when you first started using the moisturizer?
Lovely packaging. Moisturiser looked clean and creamy. It sank in and didn't feel gritty or greasy. Skin felt smooth.

  2. Now that you've hopefully had chance to use the moisturizer a lot, what do you think of it now? What's the best thing about it? Is there anything that you don't like about it?
I do miss the lovely scent of my usual moisturiser, but realise that it's good not to have a scented moisturiser, particularly with sensitive skin. I love that my ski coped with it and didn't come out in spots or peel. Skin feels soft but not clogged.

  3. Do you prefer this moisturizer to the one you were using before (if you were using one) or not? Do you think you'll continue using it on a regular basis or not? Why?
I like this moisturiser but will go back to my previous one which is slightly richer, my skin needs more, as it can be very dry. I also associate the smell of my usual one (night a mins) with going to sleep! However, if that one were discontinued I would use this.

  4. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Clinique's Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yr, definitely, particularly if the person had sensitive skin. It would be a good gift too, as it is nicely packaged, luxe but understated.

  1. What were your first impressions of the moisturizer? How did you find the texture/feel? Did you notice any difference in the appearance or feel of your skin when you first started using the moisturizer?

Nice packaging. It has a lovely light feel to it and it sinks in nicely. I didn't notice a difference immediately.

  1. Now that you've hopefully had chance to use the moisturizer a lot, what do you think of it now? What's the best thing about it? Is there anything that you don't like about it?

I really like it. My skin is definitely smoother, and it is lovely and matt in the morning. The small lines near my eyes are less visible.

  1. Do you prefer this moisturizer to the one you were using before (if you were using one) or not? Do you think you'll continue using it on a regular basis or not? Why?

I do prefer it, which surprises me because I really liked what I was using! (Boots P&P) I will definitely continue using it.

  1. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Clinique's Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes definitely, and I already have

Using this has really reminded me how much I like Clinque actually. I used to use it years ago and then stopped but on the basis of this I might look at some of their other products again.

Oh bugger I didn't get one - damn you Clinique Grin

  1. What were your first impressions of the moisturizer? How did you find the texture/feel? Did you notice any difference in the appearance or feel of your skin when you first started using the moisturizer?

I liked the feel of the cream, and thought it sank into my skin well. It made my skin feel soft without leaving any greasiness. It looks nice sat on my bathroom shelf too!

  1. Now that you've hopefully had chance to use the moisturizer a lot, what do you think of it now? What's the best thing about it? Is there anything that you don't like about it?

I like that the cream is unscented and doesn't feel greasy on my skin. I don't think there are any differences in the way my skin looks or feels, so a little disappointed that I don't look at all radiant.

  1. Do you prefer this moisturizer to the one you were using before (if you were using one) or not? Do you think you'll continue using it on a regular basis or not? Why?

I'm not sure that there are significant differences in the results from the Clinique moisturiser to those I get from my cheap and cheerful Boots moisturiser. I will use it until the pot has finished, but from the results I've had so far I couldn't justify spending so much on it.

  1. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Clinique's Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer? If so, why? If not, why not?

I don't think so. It's possible that my skin is just not able to ever look radiant or different in any way, but I couldn't recommend it based on the results I've had.

  1. What were your first impressions of the moisturizer? How did you find the texture/feel? Did you notice any difference in the appearance or feel of your skin when you first started using the moisturizer?

To be honest it looked like any other moisturiser - same sort of packaging, same glossy creamy look. It felt marvellous, cold and silky, it went on easily, sinking in nicely - my skin feels lovely and soft and looks plumper, it seems to reflect the light differently to my normal moisturiser, so wrinkles(of which I have many) don't look quite so severe.

  1. Now that you've hopefully had chance to use the moisturizer a lot, what do you think of it now? What's the best thing about it? Is there anything that you don't like about it?

It is a lovely moisturiser - I like the way it makes my face look less "weary". I don't like the plasticky packaging..

  1. Do you prefer this moisturizer to the one you were using before (if you were using one) or not? Do you think you'll continue using it on a regular basis or not? Why?

Yes I prefer it, but it is probably much more expensive, so don't know if I could justify buying it in this economic climate.

  1. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Clinique's Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes - it was a good moisturiser, did the job, felt nice, and made me feel good.

Hello Smile

  1. What were your first impressions of the moisturizer? How did you find the texture/feel? Did you notice any difference in the appearance or feel of your skin when you first started using the moisturizer?

First impressions were it looked and felt nice and thick and creamy, however, it didn't feel especially moisturizing on my skin. I also prefer moisturiser with a scent.

  1. Now that you've hopefully had chance to use the moisturizer a lot, what do you think of it now? What's the best thing about it? Is there anything that you don't like about it?

I already have pretty good skin, but a bit dry. Now, I actually think my skin might look a little better, if possible, a little younger! Lines on my forehead are less pronounced, which is amazing. But, and it's quite a big BUT, my skin doesn't feel especially moisturised. It feels a bit matte as well, and I prefer a creamier, dewier feel to my moisturised skin.

  1. Do you prefer this moisturizer to the one you were using before (if you were using one) or not? Do you think you'll continue using it on a regular basis or not? Why?

I do prefer this, but I was only using a cheapo Olay one before. I love the fact my skin feels tighter and less line-y (plus I got complimented today and told I looked well), but I suspect it's not moisturising enough for me, which is a pain. It might be good as a supplementary product but I still think I need additional moisture. My skin feels 'thirsty'.

  1. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Clinique's Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer? If so, why? If not, why not? Probably, but only to someone without dry skin. I want to like it but am not sure if it likes me! Will continue using though, maybe after a few weeks my skin will be 'retexturised'.

  1. What were your first impressions of the moisturizer? How did you find the texture/feel? Did you notice any difference in the appearance or feel of your skin when you first started using the moisturizer?

I liked the packaging - a nice solid glass pot with a silver lid. The cream itself is fragrance free which is good news for those of us with sensitive skin as there is no unpleasant stinging sensation that you sometimes get with fragranced creams. It is light and easily absorbed, not heavy or greasy.

  1. Now that you've hopefully had chance to use the moisturizer a lot, what do you think of it now? What's the best thing about it? Is there anything that you don't like about it?

I have used it as both a day and night cream as it is light enough to wear under make-up. It feels soothing on the skin and I have noticed an improvement in the fine lines around my eyes. There was nothing I didn't like about it really.

  1. Do you prefer this moisturizer to the one you were using before (if you were using one) or not? Do you think you'll continue using it on a regular basis or not? Why?

I don't usually use expensive moisturisers so I would probably only buy it as a gift (I think the RRP is £34 which is a lot of money to me). I prefer a richer cream at night time but would definitely use it as a day cream.

  1. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Clinique's Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would be happy to recommend it as a light, fragrance free moisturiser which doesn't irritate sensitive skin and has improved the look of the fine lines around my eyes.

modernlifeishubris · 14/11/2011 18:25

I am in love!

Usually I use a Superdrug Moisturiser as I don't use products that have been tested on animals. So was delighted I was chosen for this trial as Clinique don't test on animals either.

At first feel, I thought the cream was going to be greasy as it felt quite thick, but it absorbed very quickly and I loved the lack of fragrace. The next morning I saw my mother and completely unprompted, she started telling me how nice my skin was.

Usually I need to use a base before foundation because it settles into the fine lines. After using this cream the night before, I don't have to! Great for busy lazy people like me.

Did notice after a few days that my skin on my chin started to dry out but that seems to have passed (could be some freaky coincidence, moisturisers don't usually dry skin, do they?)

A small bit of cream seems to go a long way so actually seems quite good value and think I will get this in future (saving money on no base too!).

I have already recommended to mother after skin convo and have mentioned it to friends as they are already Clinique users.

So in conclusion, think I maybe a convert Smile

  1. What were your first impressions of the moisturizer? How did you find the texture/feel? Did you notice any difference in the appearance or feel of your skin when you first started using the moisturizer?

The cream is light and non-greasy and i really liked that it sank quickly into my skin. The packaging is appealing, but of course one comes to expect this from Clinique! After just a night or two, no real difference in my skin to be honest.

  1. Now that you've hopefully had chance to use the moisturizer a lot, what do you think of it now? What's the best thing about it? Is there anything that you don't like about it?

Now after just over a week, a definite improvement in my skin! Pores seem to be closing and it feels good all day now (not sure if it is meant to, but it does feel better even at this point in the day- teatime!).

  1. Do you prefer this moisturizer to the one you were using before (if you were using one) or not? Do you think you'll continue using it on a regular basis or not? Why?

I wasnt using a night time moisturiser before. But i would definitely be tempted to continue using this- a little goes a long way so i think a pot will last a long time, so therefore great value!

  1. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Clinique's Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes i will! I allowed my friends to use it for one night on our girlie weekend away and they loved it too- they had heard my views in advance and agreed with me on its texture and sink-in-ability!
A definite thums up from me!

  1. What were your first impressions of the moisturizer? How did you find the texture/feel? Did you notice any difference in the appearance or feel of your skin when you first started using the moisturizer?

I liked the packaging and the smell of it, it smelt nice and fresh. It felt nice on my skin. I feel like my skin looks brighter after putting it on, even when I first started using it.

  1. Now that you've hopefully had chance to use the moisturizer a lot, what do you think of it now? What's the best thing about it? Is there anything that you don't like about it?

I really like it, I feel like my skin is softer and fine lines are less visible. I likehow it feels and absorbs quickly. I don't like the RRP!

  1. Do you prefer this moisturizer to the one you were using before (if you were using one) or not? Do you think you'll continue using it on a regular basis or not? Why?

I do prefer it to my usual one (Ulay). I would like to continue using it, but not sure if I can justify the price.

  1. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Clinique's Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer? If so, why? If not, why not? Yes I would, I really liked this product and how made my skin feel and look.

  1. What were your first impressions of the moisturizer? How did you find the texture/feel? Did you notice any difference in the appearance or feel of your skin when you first started using the moisturizer?

I like the simplicity of the Clinique packaging and the pot itself feels good quality and well-made. I was initially confused by the instruction leaflet as it contained application instructions for two different products.

I liked the texture - it felt rich without being greasy and was easily absorbed without leaving a residue. Being a bit of a cosmetics sceptic, I was pleasantly surprised to find that my skin felt significantly softer the morning after first applying the moisturiser.

  1. Now that you've hopefully had chance to use the moisturizer a lot, what do you think of it now? What's the best thing about it? Is there anything that you don't like about it?

I am really impressed with this product. I had given up using mid-to-high-end brands in favour of Boots or supermarket own as I'd not had a good experience with previous purchases from Clarins and Elemis but I'd reconsider and look at other Clinique products now. The best thing for me is that I got a result that I could see and feel; my skin after a week is softer, the pores look smaller and the texture is more even. The only thing I didn't like was the aforementioned confusing instruction leaflet.

  1. Do you prefer this moisturizer to the one you were using before (if you were using one) or not? Do you think you'll continue using it on a regular basis or not? Why?

I do prefer this moisturiser to the one I was using before. Yes I will continue using it. I'm enjoying how smooth my skin feels even as the cold weather kicks in; my skin usually gets worse this time of year with cold air / central heating but so far it seems better than previous years.

  1. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Clinique's Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would recommend it, if I thought that the person had a similar skin type to mine and had the money to spend on the product. I'd also consider buying it as a gift for a friend who I thought would benefit.

simonthedog · 14/11/2011 19:21
  1. What were your first impressions of the moisturizer? How did you find the texture/feel? Did you notice any difference in the appearance or feel of your skin when you first started using the moisturizer?
The cream has a lovely texture. It feels cool on the skin and soaks in well. It doesn't feel greasy at all. The following morning my skin looked plumper and glowing.

  2. Now that you've hopefully had chance to use the moisturizer a lot, what do you think of it now? What's the best thing about it? Is there anything that you don't like about it?
I really like it, it has improved the appearance of my skin. Hooray! I like the smell. There's nothing I don't like about it.

  3. Do you prefer this moisturizer to the one you were using before (if you were using one) or not? Do you think you'll continue using it on a regular basis or not? Why?
I do prefer this to the moisturiser I was using but it is more expensive. I think I will continue to use it because of the results it has given. My skin fells lovely.

  4. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Clinique's Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes if it came up in conversation I would recommend it because it has improved the appearance of my skin.

  1. What were your first impressions of the moisturizer? How did you find the texture/feel? Did you notice any difference in the appearance or feel of your skin when you first started using the moisturizer?

I thought that the fact it has no scent was really noticeable. It felt smooth and quite thick. I didn't notice any difference in the appearance or feel of my skin initially

  1. Now that you've hopefully had chance to use the moisturizer a lot, what do you think of it now? What's the best thing about it? Is there anything that you don't like about it?

I like it, but don't have any strong feelings about it. I actually don't like the fact that it doesn't have a scent, perhaps I've been indoctrinated by the cosmetics companies to expect one. I am fairly lucky with my skin, I don't tend to suffer from spots or redness / blemishes, and don't have many wrinkles - mine are still at the "fine line" stage, and I can't see that they've changed much, although I haven't really studied my skin much over the years, so not sure if it's changed without me noticing...

  1. Do you prefer this moisturizer to the one you were using before (if you were using one) or not? Do you think you'll continue using it on a regular basis or not? Why?

I don't know if I prefer it, it's nice enough, but really not inspiring strong feelings. Had no idea how much it would cost until I just googled it, and there's no way I would ever spend that much on a moisturiser, just no way. Will definitely use up the pot, but my moisturiser budget is £7ish (up to £10 if I'm feeling generous to myself) so this is way out of my league.

  1. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Clinique's Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer? If so, why? If not, why not?

I wouldn't go out of my way to tell people they must use it - I'm afraid I don't ever see the need to spend so much on moisturiser unless you have real medical issues with your skin

Guess that's me "accidentally" left out of the prize draw!

Mouseface · 14/11/2011 20:27
  1. What were your first impressions of the moisturizer? How did you find the texture/feel? Did you notice any difference in the appearance or feel of your skin when you first started using the moisturizer?

A - It's very smooth and silky to the touch, light too. After the first use, my skin felt smooth but a little, wet? Blush. It sunk in well though.

  1. Now that you've hopefully had chance to use the moisturizer a lot, what do you think of it now? What's the best thing about it? Is there anything that you don't like about it?

A - It's AWESOME!!! I have noticed that my pores look reduced, my tone is much more even and my skin looks brighter, smoother and slightly plumped. The ONLY thing I don't like is the 'wet' feel on application, it wouldn't stop me buying it though.

  1. Do you prefer this moisturizer to the one you were using before (if you were using one) or not? Do you think you'll continue using it on a regular basis or not? Why?

A - I normally use No 7 Protect and Perfect Intense Night Cream (I'm getting on a bit Grin) which is thicker than the Clinique cream. I guess it would depend on the price but so far, (aprx 2 weeks in) I'm not quite sold. I need a bit longer....... Yep, that's long enough, I LOVE IT!

  1. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Clinique's Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer? If so, why? If not, why not?

A - Yes, I would. Because it's a lovely product and does make my skin feel and look amazing.

Do we know how much it's going to retail for? Is it available now?

Alibabaandthe80nappies · 14/11/2011 20:42

Mouseface I think £34. Which is a fair bit more than P&P, but I think I am sold!

  1. What were your first impressions of the moisturizer? How did you find the texture/feel? Did you notice any difference in the appearance or feel of your skin when you first started using the moisturizer?

I like the pot, simple but lux. It feels quite thick, but smooth, and sank in very easily. No scent, which is a winner for me. Skin felt smoother after first or second use.

  1. Now that you've hopefully had chance to use the moisturizer a lot, what do you think of it now? What's the best thing about it? Is there anything that you don't like about it?

It's fab. Skin looks lighter and brighter, and smoother, and at 10 days away from my 40th, that's a bonus!

  1. Do you prefer this moisturizer to the one you were using before (if you were using one) or not? Do you think you'll continue using it on a regular basis or not? Why?

I'd love to. Pricier than moisturisers I usually use, but a little seems to be going quite a long way. If it carries on like this then, yes, I'd like to continue using it.

  1. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Clinique's Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would, yes, if it came up in conversation. I've never 'won' anything in my life before, so even being a 'tester' has been something of a conversation point. Would make a nice present.

bakingqueen · 14/11/2011 21:55
  1. I liked the presentation of the product nice packaging. The cream felt light not too heavy on my face. When I woke up the first morning after using it my skin felt a lot smoother and seemed healthier.

  2. After a few days I found the effects continued. I actually looked a bit healthier and like I had had a good nights sleep which I certainly had not as I have a small baby.

  3. Yes I will be using this moisturiser as a regular feature of my skin care regime. My previous moisturiser was heavy in comparison and led to spot formation. The clinique is more expensive but I feel the money is well worth it and will last longer.

  4. Yes I would recommend this have already done so to my mum !

MoaningMinnieWhingesAgain · 14/11/2011 23:15

Only got mine today, due to a terrible week and inaccessible post office! Will be back with feedback once I have been able to try it out.

  1. What were your first impressions of the moisturizer? How did you find the texture/feel? Did you notice any difference in the appearance or feel of your skin when you first started using the moisturizer?

Firstly, the texture is noticeably soft. The texture is very light and when I first opened the put it I rubbed a tiny bit into the back of my hand and it was not at all greasy. When I used it on my face. my skin felt so soft, almost immediately. The instructions in the box could be clearer to understand though.

  1. Now that you've hopefully had chance to use the moisturizer a lot, what do you think of it now? What's the best thing about it? Is there anything that you don't like about it?

The moisturiser is not greasy and does not make my skin shine and my skin look greasy like some moisturisers have done in the past. My skin has a nice fresh glow to it and I think I look less tired.

  1. Do you prefer this moisturizer to the one you were using before (if you were using one) or not? Do you think you'll continue using it on a regular basis or not? Why?

I certainly do prefer this moisturiser to the one I have been using which also isn't cheap but I got it on a good special offer. I would definitely continue to use this and if Clinique did a special promotion on it or gave away free sachets then I think there would be lots of women that would change to this from their usual brand but it is that initial expense and the worry that it could be an expensive mistake that puts so many women off making the change.

  1. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Clinique's Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would - and have - I am definitely converted!

  1. What were your first impressions of the moisturizer? How did you find the texture/feel? Did you notice any difference in the appearance or feel of your skin when you first started using the moisturizer?

A I found it beautifully silky and it sunk into my skin without the greasiness you sometimes find with night creams.

  1. Now that you've hopefully had chance to use the moisturizer a lot, what do you think of it now? What's the best thing about it? Is there anything that you don't like about it?

A I really like it. My skin is probably looking the best it's ever done at the moment, and I have trouble usually as it can be a bit 'erratic'. I love the cream's silky texture, it's just gorgeous. The only thing I would probably prefer (although I know it's not essential) is a slight perfume.

  1. Do you prefer this moisturizer to the one you were using before (if you were using one) or not? Do you think you'll continue using it on a regular basis or not? Why?

A I do prefer it! I was very surprised that I would, as it has taken me ages to find one that suits me. I would love to continue using it, but it will probably depend on the price!

  1. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Clinique's Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer? If so, why? If not, why not?

A I would definitely recommend this product in conversation. It has been a pleasure to use and the results speak for themselves. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to trial it.

  1. What were your first impressions of the moisturizer? How did you find the texture/feel? Did you notice any difference in the appearance or feel of your skin when you first started using the moisturizer?
I like the fact it doesn't have a strong fragrance, and that it is absorbed quickly. I didn't notice any difference the next day though.

  2. Now that you've hopefully had chance to use the moisturizer a lot, what do you think of it now? What's the best thing about it? Is there anything that you don't like about it?
Its easy to use because it doesn't leave you all sticky for bed and the pores on my skin look smaller which is the best thing for me.

  3. Do you prefer this moisturizer to the one you were using before (if you were using one) or not? Do you think you'll continue using it on a regular basis or not? Why?
The list of ingredients is very long compared to my usual moisturizer.( Neals Yard) which is a bit off putting as I don't like excessive use of chemicals, however I think I will use it some of the time as it gives good results

  4. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Clinique's Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes I would because it works.

  1. What were your first impressions of the moisturizer? How did you find the texture/feel? Did you notice any difference in the appearance or feel of your skin when you first started using the moisturizer?

I liked the packaging. The moisturiser seemed light and didnt have much of a fragrance. It was easily absorbed and my skin seemed smoother after using it

  2. Now that you've hopefully had chance to use the moisturizer a lot, what do you think of it now? What's the best thing about it? Is there anything that you don't like about it?

I like it, it seems to have made my skin look more refreshed in the morning, also my pores look smaller

  3. Do you prefer this moisturizer to the one you were using before (if you were using one) or not? Do you think you'll continue using it on a regular basis or not? Why?
Yes, it absorbs more easily and has good results. I would continue to use it if I can afford it

  4. If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Clinique's Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer? If so, why? If not, why not?
Maybe, it suits my skin but everyone is different

Thanks Alibabaa (nice to see you're testing it as well Smile)

I'm sold too! It seems to be lasting longer than P&P and absorbs quicker, even though I still get a 'wet' feel from it. I can feel a change of skincare as I run out of P&P coming on here! Grin
